How can this get stains or scratched if its polyester? polyester is supposed liquid/scratch resistant. is this not 100t polyester and is a blend?

You won’t see scratches what you will see is a finely pulled thread here and there. My puppy made a mess on like day one and it didn’t go through and I steam cleaned it no mess or smell than I covered it after that
