Vollrath Economy Mixing Bowl, Stainless Steel, 13-Quart

Seems to be really good quality and it's definitely bigger than I thought but it'll work perfectly to soak and clean fruit and veggies in. I put it by the dog so you can get an idea how big it was!

I love this bowl! I like that the shape is wide verses tall as I use it for making saurkrout and massaging greens and other vegetables. It's lightweight but sturdy. A good buy for the money. It's huge!

I was surprised by the size of this bowl. It is large, lightweight, and a the right price! It is perfect for mixing anything and clean up is so easy. I find myself reaching for this bowl often! Would highly recommend!!

Thick enuff so there's no flex ,big enuff for a double batch of dough recipe ,also room for dough to double in size while rising, very pleased with quality and price

The bowl is a great size, but the thickness of the bottom (flat part) is thinner than expected

It wasn't until I gained a friend who happened to be a sous chef in a commercial kitchen that I discovered what mixing bowls are supposed to be like. I mean, pretty much every mixing bowl targeted at home users is: - High walled - Heavy - Same-sized bowls cannot be stacked - Often made of materials that can break (ceramic and glass) A 'real' mixing bowl is: - wider than it is tall - easily stacked - light-weight - easily cleaned - will not break if dropped If these bowl have a problem, it is that they are easily dented. This is the trade-off one makes for their light weight, and it is a trade-off worth making. It is, frankly, a crime that the myriad other mixing bowl styles exist. These are a joy to work with, and I am confident anyone trying one will have a similar "OMG, why has it taken me so long to realize what a 'good' mixing bowl is?" epiphany as mine. One last note: I cannot emphasize enough how efficient these are at stacking. Look at the attached pictures. How many bowls are there? The answer is 12. It takes exactly 1/8" more space (height) to store 11 additional bowels as it does to store my largest one.

This was a gift for my son and he told me that he loves it. It's a good quality bowl and has been holding up well so far. He likes to cook for company and enjoys that he can mix big batches without stuff spilling all over the place

My wife is a salad person. This bowl is great for tossing salads. The only drawback is the size of it and the space it requires in a cabinet on those days when you are not tossing salads.
