replaced my cooker
As I was impressed with my first Ninja I bought another one as a gift for another. The reason I really like the Ninjas is because the one I have has replaced my cooker, except for special ocasions such as Christmas as that is when four burners and two ovens are get a lot of use. The two Ninja baskets are quite spacious so one can cook a meal in them, for up to two people. However, the Ninja can also cook plenty of chicken so one can cook enough chicken for a family of four, cook the chips then quickly reheat the chicken so up to four can be fed. I have cooked fried chicken, chips, pies, fish, beef joints even a duck in my Ninja. It also bakes bread, one can make cakes in it (I haven't baked a cake in mine, yet!). For cooking fish I simply batter the fish, drop it in hot oil for around 30 seconds then remove it and p-lace it in the Ninja to air fry it. As for chips I use the Max Crisp setting for one minute after they have cooked with the Air Fry one, to give them that extra bit of crispiness. Although the Ninkas are good for all sorts of cooking and can cook everything from fried chicken to jam there is one thing I tried and won't try again as it was too time consuming and too costly. Roasting coffee beans in a Ninja is something I do not advise as coffee beans can be cooked in less than 1/10 of the time on a stove and at much less cost. When I tried to roast coffee I eneded up giving in and finishing them off on the stove as the amount and energy used and the amount of time wasted was just too much. One thing I do find the Ninja good for is cooking food from frozen. I simply read the cooking instructions then reduce the temperature by 10c and reduce the time a little and the Ninja cooks the food very well and in slightly less time. I also like the "Sync" and "Match" functions as it makes cooking a bit simpler. Now for the best nit... using a Ninja saves both time and energy thus saves money. The Ninja can rapidly heat up so there's no waiting 10 minutes for an oven to preheat and it uses far less energy. A typical main oven will burn over 3kWh of energy and the Ninja burns less than 1/3 of that. With the cavities being small it takes far less time to heat and much less energy to maintain the heat. Less energy use = less cost = more savings. It is a simple mathematical equation to work out that a Ninja saves money and soon pays for itself. If one saves £3 per week, on energy costs, then cooking with the Ninja means the savings will pay for the initial cost of purchase in around one year. After that first year the £3 per week is a saving that can be used for other things. Overall the Ninjas have impressed me and so much that I have started using them for gifts. They are; easy to use, easy to keep clean, they are cost effective, energy saving, money saving devices that every kitchen should have. Ninjas are very good quality and excellent value so I am recommending them.

An excellent and now indispensable product
I'd not used an air fryer before, but have been looking for a while and bought this in the recent prime day sale. I was going to go for a cheaper clone, but decided that if I wasn't happy I wouldn't know if it was air fryers in general or just that make that was the issue. The Ninjas are hyped but do have pretty well universally good reviews, so I went for this one. I have to say I am now a complete convert. The Foodi Max dual zone looks good and appears well made. It has two good sized drawers and simple and intuitive controls (in my opinion). Cooking times are, in general, halved compared to my conventional oven and the food genuinely tastes better. My wife volunteered this which is praise indeed as she was unconvinced about getting one. I particularly like this model because although the capacity is good the depth of the appliance is smaller than most comparable models and this is quite important when using it on a standard worktop. The drawers and crisp plates are very easy to clean. I have not noticed any unpleasant smell at all. The only small issue I have had that may well be something I've missed in the instructions, is that there doesn't seem to be a way of pausing without opening the drawers. This means that if the two drawers are synced and you need to open one to shake the contents, the timer and cooking of the food in the other drawer continues, so they are no longer in sync. The answer is of course to always open and close both drawers together, but a pause feature would have been nice. Not enough of an issue to drop a star though for this appliance which has become an indispensable purchase. Excellent product,

Great piece of kit! Clean, easy cooking of succulent meat & great for frozen stuff
Very happy with this so far. Occasionally a little temperamental, but eventually rights itself. Such a convenient, low mess, healthy bit of kit. Not too large or ugly on my counter. It cooks some things better than others (still prefer baked potatoes and fresh potato roasties done in an oven and bacon under a grill or on the hob), but it’s great for frozen stuff and meat in general. The pigs in blankets, full duck, steaks etc. were tender & tasty, but the star was an outdoor bred pork loin joint - it was simply gorgeous - moist, tasty and succulent! Would definitely recommend thus and am happy to have it in my kitchen!

Very nice air fryer, even cooks nice jacket potatoes!
It is a good quality air fryer, works well and is simple to keep clean. Food is crispy and hot, cooks fast and even if you remember to turn or shake the tray half way. Remember to clean it after each use to prevent fires.

Excellent piece of kitchen equipment
I had been sceptical about adding an air fryer to our kitchen equipment for some time, but having talked to others about how they used theirs I decided to take the plunge. I chose Ninja as I already have other items of kitchen equipment and have been impressed with the quality and reliability with the brand. So what’s good about the Ninja air fryer: Versatility: Anything you can cook in an oven, or most things you can fry on a stove top you can do in the Ninja. So far to date I have cooked: Whole roast chicken, roast leg of pork, roast potatoes, bacon for sarnies, fried coated chicken strips, whole chicken breast, re heated meals, oven ready meals, part baked baguette, warmed through pitta breads, and fish and chips. All the food I have cooked so far has turned out perfectly, however common sense needs to apply with regard to cooking times and temperatures, there is a fine dividing line to food becoming a crisp, so less is more as they say. Functionality: I find the choice of settings very useful and the dual baskets with the ability to match or sync very useful. I also like the fact I no longer have to warm the oven to get to temperature, just press start and go on the fryer. I note that some recipes call for pre heat of the fryer for one or two minuets, so far I have not found this necessary. I also like how easy it is to clean, one of the best non stick surfaces I have come across Cost savings: Not sure about this one, my smart meter readings over the last week or so indicate a reduction in electricity usage on kitchen appliances, but in all honesty I cant confirm how much of that is due to the air fryer. I certainly cant confirm the manufacturers claims on cost reduction v a conventional oven. In conclusion I am very pleased with this product and its ability, I wish I had bought one earlier.

The ultimate time-saver for a busy home!
The 9.5L capacity is perfect for a family, and the dual-drawer system is a game-changer. The 'Sync' feature is a brilliant technical solution—being able to roast a whole chicken in one drawer and air fry vegetables in the other, and have them both finish at exactly the same time, is effortless. The build quality of the non-stick baskets is excellent, and they are incredibly easy to clean. It’s a five-star, professional-grade appliance that has genuinely replaced my main oven for 70% of our meals.

Excellent air fryer
I’ve been using the Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer for a while now and it’s easily one of the most useful appliances in my kitchen. The dual zone baskets are the biggest advantage. Being able to cook two different foods at different temperatures and timings at the same time is incredibly convenient. The “Sync” and “Match” features are especially helpful if you want everything to finish cooking together. Cooking results are consistently great. Chips, chicken, vegetables and frozen foods all come out crispy on the outside and well cooked inside, and it’s noticeably quicker than using the oven. The large capacity is also great if you’re cooking for more than one person. Cleaning is straightforward as the baskets are non-stick and wipe down easily after use, and the overall build quality feels solid. One thing worth noting is that the crisper plates have quite a delicate coating, so it’s best to be careful if you’re placing oven-safe dishes or trays inside the baskets. I’d recommend using silicone liners to help protect the coating and make cleaning even easier. The only real downside for me is the booklet with the recommended cooking times. The information is useful, but the layout could definitely be clearer and easier to follow when you’re quickly trying to check timings. Overall though, it’s a fantastic air fryer that makes cooking quicker and easier, and the dual baskets really set it apart from standard models.

Ninja Fantastic
This is my second ninja air fryer. My first was the max af160uk, single drawer 5.6l. We used it so much as a family in the end it wasn’t big enough and we purchased this duel drawer. It’s brilliant. Definitely worth every penny. We use the old with this new one and have a lot of good cooking a lot quicker, for us that’s great as we’re so busy and it saves time. Not used all the settings yet but it’s got some great functions and really light weight, the max crisp and air fry are great. The heat levels are useful and each setting automatically have a base temp to give you an idea from. It’s very versatile in that you can cook food in a sauce without the griddles or meat and veg etc on them so that it’s lean in cooking. It’s really easy to clean after use. I will be sticking with ninja.
