Yes it will and it is amazing how much smaller the comforter is with the air sucked out.

Q: Why do my bags not seal?

Possibly check the blue silicone on the inside. Maybe there is something keeping it from sealing. We used a vacuum too instead of the hand pump. Possibly try that to see if air will come out.
