Great little PC with big power
This is an excellent computer at a great price. My laptop just stopped working, and I needed a replacement when I ran across this item. I love the size and form factor of the device, and it come with great specs. It has a 1 TB hard drive and 32 GB of RAM, which is great. The performance is flawless and fast. I haven't used this feature yet, but it has 2 ethernet ports that you can use to double bandwidth (though I can't really comment because I haven't used it yet. The little PC is superfast and I'm never left waiting for anything to load, which has been a huge timesaver. I don't do much in the way of video editing or video gaming, but I am certain that this would be up to the task (even though I can't comment on that since I haven't used it. It works well in my multiple monitor setup, and since getting it I've been thinking about updating my monitors for better images. For the price and features, I don't think you'll find a better value.

Great Little PC Has Plenty of Power
This is a review of the GEEKOM Mini PC AX8 Max with a AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS, Radeon 780M, 32GB RAM 1TB SSD, Win11 Pro. I’ve owned dozens of PCs back to the original IBM PC so I am writing this review with some experience. I had a name brand tower system for too many years that couldn’t be upgraded and put me in the market for a mini desktop system looking to save both space and power consumption. I looked at every mini-PC manufacturer that I could find factoring in design, specifications, price and user reviews. After this exhaustive search I narrowed down to two Geekom models (the A8X Max and the A6 which was a bit cheaper). One big factor was Geekom’s 3 year warranty on the system. When the A8X Max model went on sale, I jumped on the opportunity. When the system arrived, it was packaged like a premium product. The box had a lid that opened with the system seated inside protected by the packaging with all the accessories being stashed in a drawer below (see photo). The system was very easy to connect in a few minutes and was up and running. The system has a grayish-blue high quality aluminum case. There is a single button on the front that you can configure to power on/off or sleep the system along with four USB ports. In the rear, the unit has two more USB ports, two USB-C ports. Two HDMI ports, two ethernet ports. After a Microsoft Windows 11 Pro set-up and getting all the updates, I was up and running. I use this system primary for MS Office, browser and email although I do some video editing and CAD so I wanted to make sure I had enough power. This system provides more than enough capacity for those applications. The system has been cool to the touch after being on for hours and literally makes no noise. Another plus is that Geekdom does not pre-load the system with bloatware that other companies like to do so you get a nice clean system. After about a month of use, I am very pleased with this system, and have zero complaints. I would have no hesitation recommending this system to anyone looking for a higher-than-average specifications desktop computer at a great price.

Love the size!
I had a large desktop and decided to replace it with my laptop to save space and have less clutter. All worked out well and I did save a lot of space and use less AC power. Then I discovered the Mini PC’s, they looked too good to be true. So, after reviewing them all I ordered the GEEKOM Mini PC AX8 Max. It has all the features I wanted at a good price point. I liked the idea that if I was not happy with it, I could return it for a full refund. The 3-year warranty is great to have. You can tell it is quality built. I have had it for 2 weeks now, very easy to set up and all my programs work fine with it. I just leave it at the normal speed mode, it is very fast and quite. It uses very little AC power, around 65 to 75 watts in normal use. Very happy with it, I would highly recommend it.

This Tiny PC Replaced My Giant Gaming Tower!
After one months of putting this little powerhouse through its paces, I'm still amazed at how much performance they've packed into such a tiny box! As someone who's been building custom gaming PCs for years, I was skeptical about switching to a mini PC, but needed something more compact for my new apartment setup. The first thing that impressed me was the build quality - the aluminum alloy case feels premium with a nice weight to it, and the honeycomb design isn't just for looks - it actually helps with airflow. Setting it up was a breeze - had it up and running with Windows 11 Pro in under 10 minutes. The multiple performance modes have been surprisingly useful - I keep it in Normal mode for everyday tasks and switch to Performance mode when gaming or doing video editing. I've tested several games including Cyberpunk 2077 (medium settings, solid 45-60fps) and Fortnite (high settings, consistent 60+fps) and the performance is impressive for an integrated GPU. The cooling system they've engineered is seriously effective - even after 3-hour gaming sessions, it stays relatively cool and quiet compared to other small form factor PCs I've used before. The fan noise is noticable in Performance mode but not annoyingly loud. The connectivity options are where this mini PC really shines - the dual 2.5G LAN ports have been perfect for my home network setup, and I'm running three monitors (two via HDMI and one via USB-C) without any issues. The USB4 ports are blazing fast for transferring large video files from my external drives. Having Windows 11 Pro pre-installed is a nice touch, and the 32GB of DDR5 RAM handles multitasking like a champ - I've had Chrome with 20+ tabs, Photoshop, and Spotify running simultaneously without any slowdown. The 1TB NVMe drive is speedy for both boot times and loading games - about 15 seconds from power button to desktop. WiFi 6E connectivity has been rock solid with excellent range throughout my apartment. There are a few minor drawbacks worth mentioning - the power brick is larger than I expected, almost half the size of the PC itself. Also, while the integrated Radeon 780M graphics handle most games well, it still can't compete with a high-end dedicated GPU for the latest AAA titles at max settings. I've noticed occasional coil whine under heavy loads, though it's not loud enough to be disruptive. The BIOS interface for changing performance modes feels a bit dated compared to the rest of the system. Despite these small issues, I'm thoroughly impressed with what they've managed to achieve in such a compact form factor. This mini PC has completely replaced my bulky gaming tower and freed up so much desk space without compromising on the performance I need for both work and play.
