Book was in a plastic wrapper

I always wanted my books to be hardbound as I don't like any creases. This is a good book to read especially when you're starting off with chemistry.

The package arrived in decent quality. I except more for a brand new book, which is why I'm leaving four starts. Notice the minor wear on the corners pictured. As far as the content of the textbook goes, so far I am really enjoying it and it seems to explain things rather simply, which I can appreciate.

The outline of the book is just great. The tables are so much help, it help me a lot to study.

The book was exactly what I was looking for

I think my main attraction to this book was its seemed simpler than Teitz. I have a previous edition (hard copy) and this electronic version of current edition. There isn’t much difference at all in the texts. Both are poorly written. I have had to refer to Tietz and Henry’s for coherent explanations. If my instructor didnt’ use this book I would have returned it. The publishers site for support of texts is close to worthless— it doesn’t have explanations of the Case Studies, just exactly what you see in the text. And I can’t get access for the later electronic copy (it has a few different end of chapter questions I’d like to check my answers to). The publisher’s website says email your amazon recept for your Kindle text and they will add the online resources to your account...but the link to an address is disabled.IF you HAVE to have this book, get the previous edition used, its lots cheaper. Then buy Kaplan or Teitz for a good backup. (Older editions of these books are also available cheap).
