Extremely sturdy. Over all solid construction. real wood, I would expect sealed wood tho. no plastic or other cheapy substitutes , black parts are metal, easy assembly. Rustic design, modern house, packaged good. overall near to ikea quality and finish. what could be better, minor improvements: 1. sealed wood finish instead of burnt wood finish. 2. couple extra bolts (just in case). 3. metal parts need slight better finish quality, there are some rough edged by screw holes.

This is a beautiful shelf designed with solid wood and metal. Instructions for assembly could be better. A bit tricky to assemble but my son came to the rescue with a power screwdriver.

I ordered this shelf because the dimensions fit exactly where I needed it to go. It is also a pretty affordable price. Assembly was very easy once you figure out where each piece is supposed to go. None of the parts were labeled but I didn’t have a problem with that. One of the shelves has a small hole so I flipped it so it’s not visible. These small metal balls fell out of the black pieces. Thankfully I noticed them before my toddler so watch out for those. Overall it looks nice and does the job.

The wood is cheap and my bookshelf totally collapsed within a month. The legs screws snapped out of the wood and then the NEXT DAY after just nixing the legs and re arranging it the 3rd and 4th shelf did the same thing. My favorite nicknacks broke. I am not happy.

I much prefer real wood shelves. That might be technically true here (it's not MDF or plywood) -- but the wood is much weaker than pine: lighter, less dense. Definitely not what most people will expect for something advertised as real wood. Assembly was ok but when we lifted up the shelf to flip it over, 2 of the connectors started to pull out. Still ok value for the money and maybe it will hold enough weight, but I still would rather have something stronger. One suggestion for the company: offer a version that's 100% wood sides, and another that's 100% metal sides. The mixture is strange.

I am totally obsessed with this bookshelf! It's made of super sturdy, real wood and it's easy to put together. The modern farmhouse style is super versatile and fits in with any decor vibe. I would definitely recommend this bookshelf to anyone who wants to add a touch of class and style to their space without any fuss.

This is replacing a pressboard bookcase from Walmart that had to have extra supports on shelves and still sagged. I’m really pleased with the design and the solid wood shelves. I’m leaving the shelves natural but could easily be stained or painted. Assembly a little difficult but just need to use some common sense and get it done.

My husband ordered this shelf for himself as a closet shelf. One leg popped off immediately after he stood it up.. he gorilla glued it and thought maybe he just tightened it to much. He then ordered me one. As soon as we stood it up, the same thing happened. 2 broken leg shelves, same leg.. It's rickety, but cute. 2 stars for cute, 0 for quality.
