Alba Botanica Hawaiian Detox Body Wash, Anti-Pollution Volcanic Clay, 32 Oz

One of my primary reasons for using Alba is that it's cruelty free, the second was the ingredients. The price also offers value. I've seen varying reviews on it's scent – some say none, some say it's strong. For me, it has a pleasant scent that is not overwhelming – it's just right. My skin gets very dry in the winter, but that's been prevented with this body wash. I use it with a loofa and it lathers perfectly. I highly recommend this product.

Seriously!!!! Best hands down for head to toe wash. Kid friendly as well. I wanted to cleanse my body for a long time. Clogging pores with perfume was getting old to me. With my daughter needing a miracle for her eczema and my passive aggressiveness after wasting money on products that fix one thing but, lack in so many other areas. I’ve gone through every name brand you could think of, even the “doctor recommended “ soaps. Still nothing worked. I was tired of dry skin and random itching from sensitivity of chemicals. I Saw this product and decided to test its limits. It has proven to be superior to anything I have ever used. No cap! I tried it on every part it says it works on just to see and no fault at all. My skin feels so free and clean! Not to mention I have been going without deodorant for weeks now. I apply aloe Vera and legit never smell!!! Even after being in the heat or working out. Last, my daughters eczema has found it’s match! I’m one pleased customer and will continue buying! Thank you for creating this product with heavy thought of your consumers health! I won’t ever wast another dime on any other wash what so ever.

I’ve always had problem skin. Dry on my limbs, oily on my back and chest, still acne-prone even as I’m pushing 40. I used to use tea tree based body washes with varying degrees of success. After my second bout of COVID, though, I became allergic to evergreen oils - including tea tree. It took forever to find something for combination skin that DIDN’T have tea tree or cypress oil in it. This stuff, though, was worth the search. It leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized but not greasy, and it’s doing a fair job of controlling my acne. The only reason I take off a star is the scent. The coconut and vanilla are absolutely overpowering. I know a lot of people like tropical fragrances of that nature, but I’m just not a fan. Still, as well as it works? I can live with smelling like a piña colada.

Shout out to whatever fulfillment center/warehouse(?) I get my Amazon orders from because the nozzle on this thing was securely taped in place and the bottle was not rolling around in a box, so I had no issues receiving the order. I personally felt like this had a light, sweet, tropical scent that was not overpowering that I really enjoyed, but sadly does not last much out of the shower. I did like that it made my skin feel soft and moisturized. It also doesn't lather the best, but it's not the worst either in that regard. It's just not 'foamy' which I guess is the tradeoff for the ingredient list.

I love alba botanica so much and have been a customer for quite some time now. Shopping for their body wash in person is always hit and miss so the last 4 months I’ve been exclusively buying through Amazon. My typical scent has not been restocked so I decided on the Hawaiian detox. To my disappointment, whomever packaged it did NOT secure the pump and caused the item to spill and ruining the box it came in. I will say it smells great but I lost a good amount

This body wash cleared up my skin right away, and I couldn’t be happier. It leaves such a refreshing clean feeling after each use. I love it! It's an amazing deal, and it's now my everyday go-to body wash. It truly is something special!

I waited to review this for a while to see how my skin would like it long term. I LOVE this soap. My husband think it smells kinda weird, but I love it. You can smell the clay and there's a light tropical scent that I think is very nice. It doesn't linger after washing off though. I get very dry skin, especially in winter, and this soap doesn't strip my skin. I don't need nearly as much moisturizer. And since I use sunscreen all year long, my skin tends to get clogged, but this stuff has been doing miracles to keep my skin clear. Please never stop making this. It's also a huge tub. It's been months and I'm not even half way through!

The box arrived without damaged but the bottle inside is totally opened & 1/3 of the soap are leaked out!
