You can clip on over your prescription glasses frame or it can be used as the regular sunglasses if you don't have the prescription eyewear.

Q: Has anyone ever verified that these glasses have 100% UV protection as claimed?

They are. I put each lens perpendicular to a known polarized lens. No light got through at all. When I rotated the lens 90 degrees, 100% light transmission. That's the practical definition of polarized.

Q: my prescription glasses measure 5 in wide and 1.5 in height, would the night vision glasses fit over my prescription ones?

My prescription glasses are similar in size and the Agstrum glasses fit over them fine. These glasses have the advantage of being able to flip the yellow lens up instead of taking the whole thing off. They do help with headlight glare but understand they also do darken the general lighting conditions so you have to pay attention to the road especially if raining. Also, you have to get used to wearing a second set of frames over your regular frames, since they don’t clip on.
