LOVE this shoe
If you have wide feet, this shoe is for you! I do not need a wide shoe in this brand. The toe box is big, and the sole is comfortable. There is support as you walk, run or hike. The tred is great for hiking. They are the only shoes I wear most days because they are so comfortable! So glad I found them.

Only shoe that doesn't cause the Morton's Neuroma in my left foot to throb painfully. Wide toe leaves plenty of room for toes to spread out when walking. Super comfortable insole...lightweight...smart looking..love the textured bottom...really good grip. Wash up really easy. I wear a 6.5 and this was true to size, although thick socks make things a bit tight. I get a lot of compliments on them. All around great shoe! I wish they would make more of this particular style. I have tried their other styles and do not like as much as the Long Peak 6.

I got the 6.5 Wide and it is perfect! I normally wear size 6 but I have plantar fasciitis & use sole inserts. The 6.5 Wide is perfect & my feet are happy. I wish they carry the Wide sizes in other colors. These are the best hiking shoes I’ve worn so far! Highly recommend!

Size 1.2 or 1 up ! the big toe touches the front even without walking
If you are wearing size 9 in any other conventional hiking shoes brands you may want to go 1/2 or even 1 size up; the width is adequate, the length is not.I never had Altra before and these in size 9 were too short for me (size 9 in KEENs, arc'teryx norvan LD2, solomon); returning
