Easy installation. I was only interested in the hour meter function so I cannot offer any info as far as the RPM and other functions. Biggest drawback for me is the fact that you have to remember to switch it OFF when you turn off your generator. Remains on & so will drain the little coin cell more quickly.

I used the included cable tie at the spark plug end after wrapping the cable around the spark plug wire 5x times. - Looks very clean - Then I ran the cable under the engine alongside the throttle cable of my Toro Personal Pace mower. Then I velcro'd the display to the top side of the auto-start battery compartment at the rear base of the deck - stuffed the extra cable inside the battery box. Now I can see the RPM's in real time while mowing. Simply press two buttons to turn the display off - It automatically turns on when the mower is started. Brilliant!

This item requires the pickup wire be wrapped five times around the spark plug. The boot completely covers the plug. No place to wrap.

It is a little difficult to learn to use, but then it is very useful, recommended for good maintenance of the machines.

molto semplice da montare. unica pecca, durata batteria limitatissima, in quanto andrebbe spento manualmente tutte le sere. altrimenti resta acceso, con conseguente esaurimento batteria a cadenza settimanale

E' il secondo che compero, il primo è caduto in acqua salata e lì è rimasto per un paio di giorni, smettendo ovviamente di funzionare, ma questo è accaduto dopo due anni di utilizzo senza problemi. Ho preso questo modello "nuovo", che ha anche l'orologio. A 13 euro è un must buy per qualunque piccola barca, consente di trovare l'elica giusta, di tenere a mente le ore di moto, di ricordarsi di fare il tagliando e, per quanto ridicolo, di risparmiare moltissimo sui consumi (confrontando gps e contagiri). Irrinunciabile.

Purtroppo le istruzioni sono striminzite e in inglese. Io non ho capito molto, ma grazie al venditore davvero gentile e disponibile mi ha chiarito molti dubbi, purtroppo facendomi scoprire un software arcaico. Un esempio per tutti, per azzerare i Service, SVC1 e SVC, una volta raggiunto il tempo prestabilito, bisogna tener premuto il pulsantino fino a che non supera le 2.000h !!!
