I was impressed on the reel upon receiving it. Coming from someone who owns a shimano aldebaran bfs, the zephyr holds it own. I do have upgraded bearings in it to help with even lighter baits. From my initial casts In the yard i will say that this reel is great for its value.

Bought this as my first BFS reel and was exactly as expected. Surprisingly good quality for the price and should provide plenty of practice in the art of BFS. It's not on par with the $300 Japanese reels but I am not disappointed. Just as an Abu Garcia Black Max works fine as a baitcaster for 90% of us, this will be a fine entry level BFS reel and I hope bring to market a better price point for this markespace.

Item is severely over-priced. You can do much better buying a $50 dollar reel than this one. Had issues with the adjustments such as the tensioner and the magnetic bearings.
