Watch Officer's Guide: A Handbook for All Deck Watch Officers - Fifteenth Edition

It was very interesting for a former USN OOD circa 1970-72 to see how the Navy viewed 21st century OOD operations as described throughout this 2007 edition. The book arrived on time and was in excellent condition.

A year before I made Chief, I bought one of these. It was instrumental in preparing for the next step in my career. Since I retired in 1990 I lost track of the book and wanted another one. I don't know if it was for sentimental reasons or what. Just felt the need for it. Thanks, Ray, RMC(SW) USN Ret.

This book served me well as I was on the flight on my way to my first duty station. I was on submarines prior to this aircraft carrier tour and after reading, though many things are similar such as deck logs, I have a better understanding.
