Just a deterrent for a common thief, need a hacksaw to cut steering wheel. Hopefully there not carrying one. I do like it, nice product. Add another piece of foam on opposite end, hard to remove in hot car even with window shade.

Unfortunately with the popular tik tok challenge where people are stealing a certain model car, cars like mine are being stolen and broken into in my area constantly! So I had to get one of these. I haven’t had one since the 90’s! I feel my car is safe with this one and it is pretty weighty also. Could be used as a weapon…if needed. But it’s very easy to put on and take off. Comes with several keys to unlock as well.

It looks well made, very heavy. It does not require the key to extend it, only to contract it. So you can just place it at the steering wheel and extend it as far as it go without having to use the key. I feel that the 2 hooks that grab the steering wheel are unnecessary thick. The extending part looks way thin compared to that. If I were to break that, I'd cut the thinnest part. I am keeping it and hoping that it works.

Using this everyday on my Kia. Easy to use and fits great. Takes no time to put on.

Quality of this lock is not like the ones I had years ago. It is cheap and you get what you pay for. But, that is fine, I have always viewed these things as a visual deterrent. It is meant to stop the lazy thieves.

I own a 2019 Kia Sportage that has an engine immobilizer but I decided to use this antitheft device anyway. Better to be safe than sorry.

Pro: prompt delivery, fair price, very strong. The company paid for the return. Con: the key is difficult to use. A key should slide smoothly into the lock, this key needed to be wiggled/forced to enter the lock completely and the same to get it out. This was returned because my concern was that when forced it would lock and what would happen if I couldn't get it unlocked from the steering wheel? As I said the steering wheel lock WAS VERY STRONG!

This is a car steering lock, which is very easily locked without a key onto the steering wheel. It comes with three identical keys, to ensure that if one or two are lost, one will be able to unlock the lock. I use it all the time and store it in the door compartment of the car. I am happy I bought it and hope it prevents the theft of my car. I may never know whether it does, though. Ask the thief who could not steal the car after it was tried?.......

Very good! In Canada, we put steering wheel cover and thus we need wider hooks' open and this one has wider hook open than some other kinds of Steering Wheel Locks.

Would be nice if the product could be lock in any position...mainly for storage
