It's definitely a larger watch, 42 for sure.

Q: Why the date/calendar never change?

If your "date" does not change after a 24-hour rotation, there may be an issue with the date disk in the movement. You should contact Amazon and return the watch for a refund. However, you can also contact the vendor and let them know what the problem is, then see if they would send you a replacement.

Q: Got my watch but the gmt hand looks different. It is pointer. Is that normal? It had an extra thing on the tip

The latest version was updated with new hands. The new GMT hand has a needle tip. The pictures show the previous model.

Q: It looks like it says "pot time" above automatic on the light blue dial. will it be removed in an updated model?

Hard to say? If I had to guess, I would so NO. May be designers signature or branding of some sort?
