I really like the convenience of covering my smaller pots with such a unique accessory!

The Hestan universal lid is a great addition to the kitchen, even though it doesn’t form a perfect seal. It’s incredibly handy when you don’t want to scramble for the right lid, and it lets out just the right amount of steam, making it perfect for cooking dishes like risotto or steaming vegetables. I’ve even used it in place of a parchment paper lid, and it works nicely.The build quality is excellent, it’s hella solid, and it feels like it’s made to last. One of my favorite features is the hook on the handle, which allows me to hang it neatly with the rest of my pots and pans. It’s a versatile, well-designed lid that earns its spot in any kitchen.One last thought, I would argue that even if you don’t have the pot pan set the lid so long as it fits the diameter of your offbrand pot and pan would still be a good fit

I use it all the time! Covers most all of my pans perfectly! Pricey, but worth EVERY penny.

An excellent pan! The quality of construction is reflected in the weight and finish of this utility pan. For example, what are typically rounded rivet heads inside a pan, are, in this case perfected to a smooth finish. This makes it to clean. The pan takes heat evenly and with uniform distribution. The non-stick surface is durable and solid. This is a pan that will stay in your kitchen for many, many years, which is why the price, over time makes it a great bargain. You will enjoy cooking with this pan and be happy that you have it in your kitchen. As we have.

Great pan! It is nicely weighted, easy to use. However, the price is a bit steep for this product.

I'm neither chef nor good cook but this is one nice frying pan & worth the extra dollars.It's very well crafted,with a good weight & even looks cool hanging on the wall.So far food doesn't stick,it's easily hand washed.It's a great all purpose pan.

This pan from one of the highest end cookware manufactures is disappointing. It is thin walled & light weight compared to my Demeyere collections of pans. This is an aluminum pan with a very thin "Plating" of stainless. The weight of it is a dead giveaway. I would have stayed with Demeyere but they do not make a 6 Qt Rondeau pan? For a $200 pan that does not even come with a lid & from Hestan I expected much better? If you are looking for a heavy thick walled pan, this is not the one.

Hestan is superior to ALL others. I would buy these again & again, but these might last forever!High quality and EXTREMELY thoughtful design. The attention to detail is amazing! The handles FEEL natural in your hand (unlike AllClad) and have a little finger hold for extra grip - this is more important than you think; the interior rivets are flush and so easy to clean; universal lids are convenient and space saving; brushed exterior finish hides fingerprints/drip marks so much better than polished; weight of pots/pans is perfect; pots come to a boil quickly; pans distribute heat evenly; everything down to the manufacturing of the layers - they way they are formed together and sealed - Hestan thought of everything!BEFORE YOU BUY - 1) research cooking with stainless steel! It’s easy, but different than nonstick; you need to see water droplets exhibit the “mercury effect” before putting anything in the pan. 2) learn how to care for stainless steel. Main rule: don’t create dramatic temperature changes. Like all stainless steel, these require a “deep cleaning” with BarKeepers Friend every few months to maintain appearances - super easy and inexpensive.Fun fact - the owners of this company (husband & wife) tried to purchase AllClad many years ago. When they were turned down, they decided to design their own stainless steel line — but even better :)
