You pay a heavy premium for organic psyllium husk in a capsule. While psyllium husk in a bag that requires mixing is magnitudes cheaper, the awful taste requires additional ingredients to make it palatable for most folks. Two of these capsules a day is generally not enough fiber at 1.5g. Start slow and see what you can tolerate. I take 3-4 with every meal now with perfect results. Even at 12 pills a day, it's only 9g of additional fiber. When buying psyllium husk in a bag, most indicate to take a teaspoon and that is equivalent to around 8-10 of these pills.
