This is the best sun screen I have used, more expensive than the others, but my tan has lasted so much longer and I didn't burn, smelled nice and soaked in not greasy, will buy again for .y next hol.

This is my new go to brand for suncare! Purchased for a holiday in Spain (30 degrees plus with 9+ UV). We had been in Italy with a well known chemist brand of sun product which brought my son out in a terrible rash and he suffered with very bad prickly heat all holiday to the point we had to visit a pharmacy for a brilliant spray that cured it! So I wanted to take him on another break as he had had a miserable time in the sun in Italy. I scoured the internet for suncare for heat rash etc and found this brand. Thank goodness I did! No rash, no burning, no problem!!! The product went on well, absorbs with some rubbing and patting and smells lovely. It’s a lovely thick cream, not watery and leaves the skin feeling soft and not sticky at all. I couldn’t believe that we didn’t burn in the heat and high UV! And we did lots of swimming too! The after sun goes is just as good. Absorbs well and smells great. Skin was left soft and refreshed and NO PEELING! Definitely buying this EVERY holiday now. Bonus is that it is not full of chemicals is in recyclable packaging and most importantly for me Not tested on Animals. Happy mom, happy son!!!! Buy it, try it and you’ll be glad you did!

Just what was expected and great value

This product goes on well. It has a good consistency and it passed the stingy eyes test! I can't believe all the rubbish I've been putting up with for years, such a false economy...then I found Green People products. I admit I prefer the scent of the factor 25 scentless sun lotion but this is fine. There's a light lavender smell which soon vanishes and the product feels fine on the skin. I have to add that I haven't road tested this in the hot sun yet (I will be doing so soon), but it passes all the tests that make me dread having to wear sun lotion, my eyes usually react so badly, but with this product like the factor 25 there's no reaction at all. These products are so good, I'm so relieved to have found them. I'm so impressed that I'm going to try the shampoo too. I looked at the website and it's a shame that there's no loyalty offers for people who want to use these products regularly (skincare and haircare range seem great too). Where I can, I will use these products: it's worth it to look after yourself, to know you're not harming yourself and to feel good. Sun road test update to follow... Update! I have just got back and was eager to write and say how good this was. I used Green People factor 25 on my vulnerable and delicate areas, and all over for the first couple of days. I started using the factor 15 on my legs and trunk and arms after that: I have a nice even tan and I felt well protected. I used to have problems with my shins burning and getting patchy areas of red: not any more! I have a nice colour and the product smelt nice too. The lavender scent was really refreshing. It was extremely hot in Egypt, even so, this was fine, I could have done with a few more days there though. I would certainly use this again for my travels - great product!

Having battled with prickly heat for a few years and tried every lotion and potion I finally found one that actually works. Just came back from a week in Greece in the high 30’s and not a single spot never mind a rash. It’s thick to apply but does soak in quickly, but most importantly NO PRICKLY HEAT.

Been searching for years for a suntan lotion that didn’t give me prickly heat, read about this one in a magazine so thought I’d get some to try, didn’t hold out much hope, honestly the best lotion for heat rash I have ever used! Spent 2 weeks in Egypt in September and absolutely no rash at all, in and out of the pool/sea and I could still see it on my skin! Not the easiest to apply as quite thick and the smell is a little overpowering but to go rash free and protected from 30+ degree sun I was so happy!

Brilliant sun tan lotion, never got prickly heat for once, definitely recommend. But it's pricey, so it's worth it but still pricey. Thick lotion and a little goes a long way. Smells good too. Wish it was bigger for the price though.

Loved how this product went on smoothly and evenly, not sticky, seemed to blend well. Smelt lovely and fresh. Ive never used a biodegradable sunscrean before , it was import for me to try to recuce the amount of chemicals. But was also concerned about the plastic tube in came in However . I have burnt terribly within an 1 hr of using this product. I had already been in Mexico for 1week when I went to Sian Ka’an biosphere where biodegradable sun lotions are encouraged. I hadnt used the product before as the reviews were good, I do burn easily so was wary, and kept applying every 20 mins or so and imediately after being in the water. However my face, arms , shoulders and back ( where the life jacket didnt cover) was very burnt and sore. Loads of ice cold aloe vera applied at the hotel and s full day next day hiding in the shade ensued. Was very disappointed, and also lost s further day exploring due to the sunburn. Perhaps if you were wandering around your back garden regularly applying this it may be ok, And maybe , my speedboat trip through the beautiful lagoons were a tad too extreme for this cream. I so wanted it to work and it didnt!

I am diving head first into mineral sunscreen because I am trying to avoid skin cancer from the products I put on my skin. This sunscreen works great and rubs in well until it’s entirely invisible.

I was hoping this brand would not make my eyes sting, but it does. If you have sensitive eyes, beware. I can only use it on my legs.
