Very sturdy and 4 year old loved it!
It was easy to assemble- grandson loved his first big boy bed! It is very sturdy and great color to grow with for a boy. We did put a layer of plywood / in addition to the square dowels supporting the mattress because the big kid mesh railing we added did not have support. He is active and rolls around- prevent him rolling out of bed.

Easy to put together, sturdy, and foldable
Takes about 20 minutes to put together. Maybe just 10 if you use a drill. When screwing/drilling don't tighten everything all the way until the end.

Nice sturdy daybed perfect for a guest room.
Put the middle bar on last. Slats will not fit if that bar is already installed.

Bars don’t stay in
So I got this for my three year old to sleep on in her sisters room. We have tried everything and I do mean everything to get these stinkin bars to stay in the holes where they go. They will not and unfortunately once they fall out my kids think they are toys or weapons and try to use them on each other. 🤦🏻♀️ short of drilling each bar into place there is no way they will stay put.(Psa we have also tightened the side and middle bolts as tight as they will go and they still don’t stay in.)

It functions
I was super excited to get a trundle bed for my daughter because her bed is on the floor and she shares a bedroom with her two sisters, so it wasn’t functional anymore.Pros: The trundle fit really well under the bunk beds my father-in-law made for my kids which is great. It was pretty easy to assemble. I didn’t realize that you can actually fold the frame and hide it away if you needed to. That was a real surprise. So I like that you use it on the floor, slide it under another bed, or just fold the frame and put it in the closet or something.Cons: The biggest issue I have with it is that the bars that you put down to make the frame are 1. Not screwed in or anything and 2. Hallow so it’s super easy to bend them. I have 2 poles on the frame that are bent already and I’m not excited to see how long the rest of them last. I’m also frustrated with the wheels because they keep coming loose causing them to bend a bit. The last issue I have is that there isn’t some kind of higher edge so the mattress doesn’t slide off every time we make the bed, or push it under the other bed to get it out of the way. The mattress when made gets caught just a little bit on the other bed, so when we pull it out, the mattress is half off the trundle frame.I think for the price, you get what you get, but there are probably better ones out there. If it’s a bed that’s not going to be used often, only with sleepovers or something, I think it would be great, but since we use it every night, it’s not the best choice we could have made. Oh well.
