Probably better for smaller horses/hooves.
You don’t get much leverage due to the size but will make a good tool to keep in the trailer for shows.

Not ideal for pet potbelly
This did not do well for our potbelly pig. I don't know about other animals but just did not work for what we needed.

Metal plate was only attached with 1 screw, 3 screws missing
The metal file plate was only attached with one screw to the handle so it was not usable.
