Honestly the best hair product I’ve used. I have fine, thin hair that is extremely straight and frizzy. I’ve tried so many products and none of them seemed to make my hair as soft and perfect as the salons do somehow. After seeing that this is from Hawaii I was sold. It was sort of just bonus that it lacks so many chemicals and may help my hair situation. My goodness, let me tell you, after two washes I felt as if I had traded in my hair for someone else’s. It is sooo shiny, soft, and NOT FRIZZY ANYMORE!! I’ve received compliments as it’s clear something has changed. It’s as if I get salon treated with every wash. It stays amazing even if I skip a wash. I should also mention that it smells like cupcakes. Being that no products have ever worked for me, I am so satisfied with how much this has helped me already. Please don’t hesitate to buy this product, just make sure you look at the reviews and what it’s for to make sure it’s for your type of hair!

I have developed an terribly itchy scalp in my 70’s. Drs did scalp biopsy figuring it was from Lyme, neurological but no answers. Literally this is the 14th shampoo I’ve purchased in the last 12 months and I’m over the moon thrilled to say it’s the first one to almost completely alleviate the itching while leaving my hair super soft. I’m so excited I just ordered the conditioner and hope it works as well. The smell is fantastic, like honey, vanilla and almond and it lathers so we’ll I know, for the first time in three years, look forward to washing my hair. All I can say is thanks for this product and all the product reviews UPDATE. Just received the conditioner today and couldn’t wait to use it with the shampoo. It’s wonderful. Same great smell and my hair looks and feels wonderful and my scalp isn’t itching after years of misery. Thank you Maui

I just received this and was anxious to shower since, at 50 yrs old, I have developed oily scalp issues for the first time in my life. I have very thick, coarse naturally curly hair that I only wash every few days since it is normally too frizzy on day one and looks better after a day or two, but not lately because it strts to look gresy. Well, I still have damp hair but my scalp feels amazing and sondoes my hair. This is light wright, and yet my hair feels amazingly clean. Amazing what chemicals can do to you-this is more nature doing what it was designed to do so no buildup or greasy feeling. I want to buy cases of it so they dont discontinue it on me! Smells great too! Very thick and gooey to get out of the bottle-may want to work on bottle design, but please do not change the product! UPDATE: after two uses, my hair feels, looks and smells amazing. This is my new go to line.

Nice scent and feel

I am 50 years old and for 35 years I have colored my hair. My hair was brittle and overprocessd. For years I have looked for a shampoo that would help - no matter the costs - trying so many products. Also I would like to mention my hair is very long and reaches my jeans waist line - having been so damaged I could never brush my hair straight out of the shower. It was painful even after conditioning sometimes 3 times in a row or using extra strength conditioning prooducts. Then I tried Maui shampoo & conditioner - WOW it is fanonomimal. I can brush my hair right out of the shower and my hair looks so beautiful & healthy. Ive tried all the different scents of this Maui brand - they all work great and smell fabulous. This vinilla smells so nice and relaxing - one day I headed outside and thought, I wonder who is baking cookies- then I realized it was my hair that smelled so good

I bought the shampoo and conditioner together as a package deal I ended up getting both of them in separate packages weeks apart from each other. The package of the shampoo came in the box was great but the shampoo however seem to have been squeezed out and made a mess on the bottle and the box. Wasn't hard to clean just a little frustrating that I had to do that. The conditioner bottle came in perfectly fine. I haven't noticed a huge difference in frizziness or damage fixing as of yet, but I've only used it two times. I can tell you that it does smell amazing! It smells like I'm baking cupcakes while in the shower and I've also gotten multiple compliments on my hair smelling good as I walk past people!

Smells nice, hair is soft. Unfortunately, the package became open in the delivery process; so I give 3 stars because I did t get everything I paid for. The bottle is already small... so it's unfortunate. The conditioner I purchased with it had the lid taped... maybe they should do that with all bottles.

I opened the bottle and was immediately hit with the most heavenly smell. I have never smelled anything better! I was feeling super gross and greasy because I waited a day to shower for this to get to me. I have never had a shampoo cut the grease and leave my hair soft, especially with such a small amount! Any other brand I have had to use 1/4 of the bottle. Everything else I have tried that cut the grease would also make my hair feel bone dry. I almost considered not using conditioner (because of smell and softness) but I knew I shouldn't. I could not recommend this more! I already sent it to a friend who is also a curly girl.
