Ever since Burt's Bees stop making their hair pomade, I've been hunting for an equivilant solution to manage my hair/scalp. Normal hair gel/wax severely dries out my scalp, and I can cause a mini snow flurry by the end of the day.Ignoring the claims of the mericle baldness cure, the ingridents looked very similar to what came with my previous pomeade, so I decided to give it a try. Long-short, this is definitely no replacement to Burt's Bees Pomade. It does have a strong medicine type smell, not unlike icy-hot, but not exactly the same scent.Speaking of icy-hot, this stuff had a similar reaction to my scalp. Felt cool at first when applied, then made my scalp burn or at least the sensation as if I had actually applied icy-hot to the top of my head.Thankfully, it didn't last long, bit it was a bit unnerving while it was happening.Finally, like a few others reviews pointed out, this stuff never fully dried out, and left my hair feeling greasy throughout the day.At the end of the day, I had slightly greasy, unmanaged hair, with a light aroma of bengaid. I did try this product out for a couple days, thankfully while in social isolation, but ultimately I'm going to have to say this product wasn't for me. That's not to say that someone out there won't appreciate this, it just won't be me.

This is by far one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. I used to use Suavicto pomade but it started to make my scalp turn red. So I started to look for a healthy natural alternative and I found this Pomade. For a little background I'm a man with a fade on my sides and a ponytail or samurai knot. (Not man bun lol) this keeps my hair down and smooth the whole day. I'd say it's a 8 out of 10 in terms of holding my hair down so its good for everyday use. Also I noticed a huge improvement in my hair health! Its stronger and doesn't fall out nearly as much. Another thing I love about this is that it last forever. I purchased thin February and I still have a lot left and its October!I still keep a suavicto pomade for going out or more important events like a wedding. But for every day use I used this miracle pomade! I highly recommend it.
