This ramp is perfect length to use on our front porch. My parents use walkers, so it's hard for them to get up and down the 2 steps without railings. The width of the steps are kind of short, so I get nervous getting them down on to the driveway. The ramp may feel like it's not sturdy enough, due to the length, but it's supposed to have give, so it does bounce a little. But trust me, it won't break. We use the ramp only when my parents are over; we didn't drill holes and make it an attached permanent ramp. Would definitely recommend.

Purchased to assist with a family member who has had difficulty getting inside due to an injury, easy to install. Adjustable, sturdy, foldable which provides ease of storage. Helped us feel safe in having family members come in and out of our home who were struggling.

Bought this for my son’s girlfriend who moved to a first floor apartment to accommodate my son’s wheelchair, now he can go onto her patio and not drive around through the grass, her doorway has a 4 inch drop down and it works perfectly and it’s short so he stays on the cement patio when using it. Super easy to use and folds up when not in use. Great product

Pros: Ramp came in a timely manner. Seems sturdy overall, though there is a little bounce when stepped on. Folds to a smaller size for storage and is lightweight. No slip surface works well, and no slip padding at underside where upper portion of ramp contacts upper step helps it not slide off step and protects tile underneath ramp from scratching. (Unfortunately there is no padding at underside of ramp at bottom of step surface to prevent scratching. A nonslip mat may help there).Cons: The ramp side guardrails, while a nice addition, blocked the ability of our door to open and close over the ramp. We had to open the door, place the ramp, and then remove it after use in order to close the door. This ramp worked fine for a sliding door entry or an entry where the door opens the opposite direction from where you want the ramp. We wanted it for a front door that opened out to a step down, so this did not work for us. This may have also been an issue due to the specific clearance between our door and the step, so you may not have this issue. We were able to find a different ramp that had angled side guardrails at the top and bottom that didn't hinder door opening. Also, we were surprised to see that the hinge that allows the ramp to fold in half was not flush on the walking side surface of the ramp. This means there is a tripping hazard if you step in the middle of the ramp. This probably won't hinder a wheelchair, but may be an issue for walking up the ramp. We also questioned whether the ramp might collapse if the hinge was stepped on, but that would seem to only happen if the ramp also slid off the top step.Overall, a good ramp, taking into consideration the above cons, which really only affect certain circumstances of being used. Can't speak to longevity, as we've only had it for a few weeks.

Super fast delivery, smooth wheelchair ride. We did have to remove the transitional metal trim so it would fit flush. No big deal. Works great!

Perfect traction, sleep resistance, no any "put together" requirements. Just open the box and you may use it.There is though one important think, you can not use it if the door opening outside.

For those wondering if this item can be used AS IS to bridge a step of about 5-6" for a robot vacuum: NO it cannot. The robot will run into the hinge and turn around. For those wondering if the screws from the hinges can be removed to facilitate same: NO. Can it be modified to do same? Maybe... Now i'm searching for ways to remove riveted on hinges. I'm guessing it works just fine as designed. Just passing this info on for folks like me.
