Helps to expand the ports even more on my Spectre 14T
TB4 is now more common than ever so im glad Im able to find a full TB4 dock for future proofingHeres the original issue that I tried to amend with the purchase of this TB4 dock:my HP Spectre 14T has 2x TB4 ports but i have a USB-C docking monitor and a few more accessories so I needed more ports. Also the USB-C monitor is having problems negotiating PD charging with my HP laptop so I ended up having to add another USB-C cable for charging which ends up using all of my TB4 portsSolution:Ended up buying this to make sure that charging and USB-C DP Alt mode + USB hub all work with one single connection, which it does, charges my laptop which uses up to 65W via PD but this 60W hub charges it up nicely even when laptop is halfway depletedHere are some Pros and Cons:Pros:- Thin, compact, easy to mount/place and keep a low profile (i ended up zip-tying to my monitor/laptop arm but may try other more elegant solutions later)- charges up to 60W which is enough for my 65W PD laptop- full TB4 ports + 1x USB 3.2 port- works well with USB-C docking monitor- works well with additional USB-C docks (plain USB-C docks) to expand even more ports- did a quick speed test with a TB4 NVME enclosure and 970 EVO, reached 2800MB/s read, no speed compromises- doesnt get hot, power adapter it comes with is a brick that is separateCons:- heck of a power brick... size of a 80's motorola mobile phone... almost- did not come with TB4 cable (I bought a 1ft cable from Amazon for my needs, short to keep it tidy)- wish it has 1 more USB-A port

Works great with M1 MacBook
Finally got more than two port to use. It’s a perfect match for Apple M1 machine.

Good Value
XLNT for what it is at this price for a TB4/USB4 hub/dock. Yeah, I know, industrial size power supply is from a different era to the actual device, but it isn't a deal breaker. Plus, rest assured that brick will make sure all ports get adequate power for everything. This fills a niche for those want extra TB4 ports, but don't want/need the extra ports and far higher pricing (double+ in most cases) of larger docks.

Thunderbolt generally delivers on its promises, but this dock is not without flaws
I was testing this dock using an M1 Macbook Air, and purchased it specifically to be able to use multiple NVME drives simultaneously. Those drives were all in Orico NVME 10Gbps USB enclosures.Out of the box, the first disappointment is that there is **NO THUNDERBOLT CABLE** included. I did not read the description carefully enough, but it is listed in there. So I had to shell out another $$ for that before I could use the hub fully.Performance on the USB-C ports was reasonable. I did see a drop in drive performance running drives through the hub, with read and write speeds of (both) around 650MB/s dropping to 550MB/s, but that is not the end of the world. It is certainly much faster than running the same drive through a USB 3.0 5Gbps hub, which severely limited the same drive's performance to only just above 310MB/s read and write. The main problem I faced was the USB-A port: even with the bulky 100W power supply connected, and with no other ports connected, the USB-A port is limited to 900mA (4.5W) of power output. This is too low for use with some external SSD or USB-powered HDD, and I experienced drive disconnections when trying to use this drive with a range of different SSD's.As such, I can only recommend the USB-A port for low power devices, like USB sticks. This means that even though the USB-A Gen 2 port is able to support a speedy 10Gbps, it may be hard to actually take advantage of this port's blistering speed!Overall, this is disappointment. The hub is extremely expensive compared to basic USB Gen 2 hubs, and to have 1 of the 4 output ports be critically hampered by limited power output (when there is a honking 100W power brick attached no less!!) is really such a shame.
