We purchased this pit for our deck. We wanted something small that wouldn’t rust out on the bottom. We’ve had it for only about 6 weeks but it’s doing great! We also decided to buy a cover to keep the metal bowl inside the unit from rusting. No chips or issues with the unit. So far, we are very happy with this cute little fire pit.

Overall it is very much what other reviewers have said. The stone is attractive, sturdy and just about the right weight for something like this. It draws air well and fires well. But the bowl and the protective mesh are poor materials and wear out quickly. The saving grace and the reason I gave it 4 stars is because, as others have pointed out, Weber makes parts for the 20" grill that fit this perfectly - so when the OEM bowl wears out it is a drop in replacement with a sturdy one from Weber. It's a decent value for the money!

We have a small yard completed decked and I wanted a fire pit that could be moved, lifted the fire up off the deck, and looked real. This one fit the bill on all counts. It looks like actual stone and is heavy in that it’s not gonna move on it’s own but light enough I can slide it on the deck depending on where I want the fire. I really can’t believe the price, the ROI is definitely there!

After 1 use it’s already starting to break apart. SMH

Don't let the size of this product fool you. It is deep and sturdy. Light enough to be portable yet heavy enough to withstand a good gust of wind. It is aesthetically pleasing and the color scheme goes beautifully with my backyard.

This is a great product that came extremely well packaged. Even though it is concrete in construction, the packaging kept safe throughout shipping. All you have to do is add the bowl and spark guard and you’re done!

I bought this to put on my concrete patio and I really like it. I have been asked what it is made of, and I honestly don't know, but what I can say is that it is attractive, light weight, and just what I wanted it to be. I would not recommend it for a wooden deck, however, unless you will put down brick or concrete pavers under and around it. (That is the only reason I gave it a 4 star rating rather than a 5.)

re: faux concrete [plastic?] pit - beware that fire should only be lit in the shallow metal pan. Any direct fire / heat to interior of the faux concrete bowl may emit burning of plastic Better to invest in all metal. Very decorative and functional but would prefer a product that does not potentially emit toxic fumes, even if accidental.
