We have been using a two step ladder for several years not thinking much of it. It finally gave out and so a replacement was needed. We picked out this 4 step ladder instead. Not really thinking much of a difference. I have to say, I have been finding myself using the third and forth step more often than I imagined.That extra step gives me more leverage and just enough height to get at things easier. It's every easy to open and close. Can easily store it flat in the closet, pantry, or behind a door. It feels secure for my weight and quality made.

The description states that the 4 step weighs 12.43 pounds, but it actually weighs 16 pounds. When it arrived in the box, I was dismayed because it seemed really heavy, so I weighed it immediately and it was 19 pounds with packaging. I have a bad back and ease of use is important to me.The ladder itself is great - very sturdy with non slip feet. You can stand safely and comfortably on any of the 4 steps because they are larger than normal ladder steps. Each is a non-slip platform. It is a bit difficult to lock down and fold up, but that isn't all bad since it is brand new.It was missing one rivet on the back when I received it, but rather than lug it somewhere for return, I found a bolt in the garage that fit.All in all this is a great stepladder, not as light as my Rubbermaid 3 step (8 pounds) but given the design of the steps and sturdy feel, I can handle the 16 pounds. I am going to replace batteries in my smoke detectors today!!!

I live in a two story house. I currently have a couple of large ladders and a small stepstool. I wanted to get a ladder that I could store conveniently upstairs, which would not take up a lot of space yet was tall enough to reach my ceilings. This ladder seemed like it would be what I needed.I was concerned that a ladder with only 3 steps would not be tall enough but I was wrong. I was able to comfortably and safely change a light bulb in a ceiling-mounted light. The ladder is sturdy and doesn't wobble. The steps are textured and wide so my footing feels secure. And it folds into a very thin profile, so thin that I store it behind the door to my office when not in use. (My other ladders are stored in my garage downstairs.) It is perfect for what I needed.I only have two minor complaints. The first is that the locking mechanism is not the greatest. I'm used to a ladder locking automatically when fully opened. But that isn't the case with this ladder; it takes quite a bit of force to fully lock it. What that means is that when it is opened, it doesn't lock until you step on it, and your weight is enough to push it in place to "click" it. I don't see this as a real safety hazard, because it locks the moment it is used, but it was unsettling the first time I used it because it wasn't expected. Now that I know about it, it's not a big deal. (It also unlocks pretty easily; get off the ladder and pull up from the handle in the top step and it will unlock and fold, no need to push a lever.)The other, even more minor issue is that the manufacturer label that was on the top step was already peeling when I took it out of the shipping box. It might have been an issue with not enough or insufficient adhesive, but it was also curled up quite a bit so there might have been more than that. I just pulled it off and no residue was left behind, so no big deal. There's just a blank spot where it used to say "RIKADE".Overall I am extremely pleased with this ladder, especially comparing the price to similar options. It's a great bargain and was exactly what I needed.

Nice sturdy ladder ! I feel comfortable and safe when using it , folds easily and fits behind a free standing pantry and wall nicely.

Hallo Allerseits,für unter 50,-€ so eine gute Leiter zu bekommen ist wohl sehr schwierig aber hier findet man Sie (wenn Sie im Angebot ist), RIKADE heißt das Zauberwort.Hier im Altbau ist es eh nicht sehr hoch bis zur Decke sind es so um die 2,50m, da langt diese Leiter mit 3 Stufen völlig aus.War doch sehr Überrascht von der Qualität dieser Leiter, ja die Stufen sind nicht aus Metall, warum auch, ist sehr stabil.Mein Gewicht von über 100KG hält diese Leiter spielend aus & hat einen sehr stabilen Stand.Die Stufen sind sehr schön Breit & Tief genug, mit den Noppen ist der Halt auf diesen Stufen sehr gut, ich hatte keine Probleme beim Arbeiten auf dieser Leiter.Kann Sie mit guten Gewissen Empfehlen.Preis/Leistung Super (im Angebot).Netten GrußSven

Ich habe lange recherchiert und letztendlich diesen Tritt bestellt. Fazit: Ich bereue es nicht. Meiner Meinung nach gute Verarbeitung, der Tritt hat einen stabilen Stand auf dem Boden durch Gummi Kappen und auch auf den Stufen steht man sehr rutschfest.
