Blomus Floor Standing Towel Rack Stand, Polished Stainless Steel

Beautiful, sleek and sturdy piece. The master bathroom does not have any place for towel bars (go figure on how they designed this old house).There were a couple of hooks. Hate hook marks and the fact that towels don't dry well that way. I searched for an affordable, heavy, sturdy, non- rusting metal, attractive freestanding towel rack. This one met all my needs.The rack holds 2 large (not bath sheets) heavy turkish bath towel perfectly. There is room between the towels for circulation and the width of the towels are wider by 2" on both sides but does not allow them to flop over. The base is heavy and sturdy on the porcelain tile floor. I added heavy self-stick felt squares to cushion between the floor and base. Great purchase!

This is a very sleek, modern towel stand with straight lines. The weighted base is matte, gunmetal grey polystone; there is a choice of polished chrome or brushed chrome arms. The stand does requires assembly, but everything is included (six screws and two drivers) and it's very easy to put together. It's a stunning, well-balanced, sturdy towel stand that meets all the design requirements of a bath and shower with straight lines and streamlined space.

I initially ordered the polished steel variety, but it was delayed due to Sandy. The seller, though, suggested the brushed/matte look, and I didn't know they offered this design. Since the brushed design coincidentally goes perfectly with our bathroom's look, I agreed to get it instead of the polished.The towel rack is pretty sturdy, and came in a compact package -- some assembly required. Pretty easy to assemble, though -- I finished it in less than 20 minutes (I think it can be done in less, except my kitty kept on distracting me). The base is very solid, no worries about tipping the towel over, fastened to the vertical metal base with two large screws. The four smaller screws are for the horizontal bars, and they fit sturdily.Overall, it's a very well-made product. The only reason I give it less one star is because the rack is actually somewhat shorter and narrower than I expected. If you fold a plush bath towel (the larger fluffy ones) in half lengthwise, you cannot hang it right on the side prongs of the rack (leaving the vertical bar visible) -- it's too narrow. I ended up having to place the towel over the entire horizontal bar, leaving just enough room for a hand towel. It's really a small towel rack to be used for 2 people. I think this towel rack is made just for one person.I ended up with our bath towels hung one on each of the upper and lower bars, with the hand towels squeezed in beside it, so now the gorgeous rack is now all covered up. If they had made it say four inches wider and taller it would have been perfect for 2 people.

Just got this rack today and am thrilled. It is the perfect size for two bath towels and two hand towels, but only takes up a small footprint. The design is sleek and modern. It is very sturdy and high quality. It was a bit more pricey than other similar items I considered, but it is worth every penny. One note: based on the photos, I expected the base to be glossy black. It is actually a matte charcoal gray. For my house, that works better, but it was a (pleasant for me) surprise.

Seems decent, but the rubber feet fell off as I took it out of the box. Also, screws not well wrapped, some were bouncing around, fortunately all were there. I've got to get new feet, one is missing and it wobbles.Update: removed the existing feet and cleaned the mount points with acetone. Hit it with a light dab of polyurethane to create a clean sealed surface. Put on new flat adhesive feet from my box store and it's now pretty perfect. Unfortunate to have to do that but now it's a fine addition to the bathroom.

Had this item for 6 months when I hit it with my leg and broke off the lower towel bar. Found that it was held by two very small solder points. Very cheaply made. Disappointing. Don't waste your money

I was not satisfied with it. One of the handle broke off easily. It looks good but it’s not durable. I threw in the garbage after a few months. It’s not worth the money.

This towel rack worked perfectly in my small modern bathroom. I put two sets of towels on it (bath, hand and washcloth) and it looks quite fine. The stone base makes it solid so when one grabs the towels in a rush, the rack won't come tumbling. It also can fit the oversized bath towels although I don't have them usually. Highly recommended.I assembled it quite easily( about ten minutes, would have been shorter but my puppy helped), they supply the proper size screw drivers and screws.

Der Handtuchhalter ist sehr hübsch und leicht aufzubauen. Bei uns passen alle Teile gut aufeinander und er steht auch sehr stabil. Die Handtücher hängen mit genügend Abstand zueinander und berühren bei uns auch nicht den Boden. Ich würde ihn definitiv wieder kaufen.

Wanted a freestanding towel rack for our newly renovated bathroom. Just love it, the functionality is great and it looks top notch

Very sturdy, easy to assemble (took me 5 minutes). Made in China, but good quality. Exactly as I expected.One little thing - the screws were not secured and were just bouncing around in the box, which was not completely sealed so they could easily fall out. Fortunately they all arrived and didn't damage the rail in the box.The stone looks nice. If I had to describe its color, I would say it is black, although I can agree with people who claim that it is more like dark grey.
