Works really well at detecting real diamonds from fake diamonds which makes it a great value for the money and very easy to use and it's very accurate and is a size that most hands can hold

It took a bit of trial and error and re-reading the detailed instructions to get it to work. But once we figured it out, it's very easy to use. The one main complaint is a minor one: the battery that came with the Diamond Tester died after just a few minutes of use. Fortunately, it's a common battery (9V) and we have spares, so we were able to get it up and running again. Despite the challenges, it seems to work well and is reasonably priced.

fix the battery holder damnit, a bunch of reviews are saying this and the instructions are bare minimum but I figured it out. I wouldn't consider it the best there is no secure place to put the battery. it legit has no secure holder the connectors are loosely just sitting inside as you see in other review photos. I at first assumed it got that in shipping but... WRONG it arrives this way naturally with no damage to packaging. soon as you place the battery in the unit will lose power soon as the battery shifts out of position of the connectors due to it having no placement in the area whatsoever. you just place the battery in and angle it right enough for the lights to stay on. as far as accuracy it definitely can tell glass from diamond and moissanite. it definitely feels cheaply made like you could drop it and it'll break or step on it accidentally and break. due to the battery situation the functionality is lacking and I feel like you could just find better value for your buck where quality of the consumer is put in the front.

This diamond tester is very accurate and easy to use and I love that in seconds I can know if a stone is real or not, it is ideal for jewelers or those who buy and sell jewelry. The size is compact and works perfectly and comes with its case to store it

This device is extremely simple to use. Calibration is easy following the guidelines in the instruction manual. It has reliably alerted correctly on both diamond and moissanite. It's lightweight, comes with a case, and the alert is clear (visible and audible). Great value for a simple tool.
