Works great for my frying needs! Have bought it several times and I am very pleased.

The product in the container is great. The container is suitable, but it would be better to put a seal on the top of the bucket between the bucket and lid. When you received it, it was probably turned every which way, with the lid full of bacon grease. It was not shipped with this side-up indicator. Mine was packed in the box upside down.I had to reorder because it showed shipped and was in the destination facility. But it had been left there probably because it had been busted open. (my Guess)

This product is great. I’ve been using it for several years now so that why I buy the big tub of it. I just scoop out some and put in a smaller container next to the stove. The funny thing is you get the beacon smells when cooking but not so much in the food. I pop popcorn with it and you can’t tell you used it. Great shelf life. Depending on the package date and expiration date and or you receive it the manufacturer says it’s good for 18 months. It’s clean almost white in color. The manufacturer says they filter it. It’s 1,000 times better and easier than trying to save your beacon drippings. So convenient. I highly recommend this product and I use it. I just gave a couple of ways I use it. You’ll find so many was to use it as you use it.

Love it, adds a nice flavor to everything I cook. Froze the bucket, cut a chunk out for a couple days worth of cooking and it is still perfect. It smells so good when you cook with it, a bit of a pain in the butt to open the bucket at first but once you figure out the method it is easy to operate.

This container will last a long time. Stored in the refrigerator after opening, it will not go bad. I always keep the fat after frying bacon, but never have enough for seasoning everything I want.I know the health critics will gasp and point a finger, but this stuff is great for making grilled cheese sandwiches in place of butter or margarine. Don’t need a lot for great flavor. Or make toast in a George Forman-like grill using this. Panini press works as well. Just the smell of bacon gets your appetite going.

This is my second bucket; the first lasted well over a year. Overall, the fat is flavorful, pure, and makes an excellent addition to any meal where a bacon taste is appropriate. It is also an excellent cooking addition to certain other meals that do not require a fat for cooking (such as ramen and a turkey chowder), but benefit from hunger satiation the fat provides.It is worth noting that it is rather high in calories, but for someone like me (I regularly fast intermittently; presently the window is 48 hours) it is an wonderful satiating agent when added to foods.Definitely recommend.

I really like having this bacon grease on hand, that way I don't have to fry bacon all the time, wish it had the crumbs in it though. I save all my 1 pound containers to put it in. Like the 1lb sour cream containers. There are other things that are 1lb too. Then I freeze them. If I do fry bacon then I just add it to what ever I have out.The 9lb bucket lasts me almost a year. I try not to use it all the time. I make fried potatoes in regular canola oil, but will add a dab of bacon grease at the end for flavor. I also the use it for cornbread and popcorn. It's great popping corn in it.

I love this product and use it all the time. Works great for flat top grills like a Weber or blackstone. I’ve been buying the smaller tubs at Walmart but thought this made sense. The gread is great but the seal on the tub broke within 3 openings. They really need to change or improve the tub. It’s also a little messy and difficult to open/close. 5 stars for the grease but 1 for the tub.
