I recently acquired a Glass Avocado Vase, and it's quite a stylish addition to my home decor. The vase is ideal for growing avocados due to it's slim neck and hour glass shape. You are able to keep the avocado in water for extended periods of time which helps it grow much faster.I successfully grew my first avocado seed in it. No more stabbing an avid with toothpicks and placing in a mason jar hopelessly waiting for something to happen, only to be disappointed after weeks. Watching the seed sprout and grow into a small avocado tree inside the vase was a fascinating experience, and it sprouted much more quickly than expected (about 1-2 weeks you could see a stem). It also served as a great conversation starter when friends and family visited.However, there's a catch to this vase. After about 2 months or so, the avocado tree inside grew much faster than I expected. The vase wasn't large enough to accommodate its growth, so I had to transplant the avocado tree into a bigger vase. While its good that this vase is ideal for growth, know that you will have to upgrade to a larger vase rather quickly. I recommend purchasing this vase and then a few larger ones so you can transfer the avacado as it grows into an environment that will accommodate it's root base.Pro tip: You should wash this several times a month. I'd say once a week at minimum as it the start does turn brown or green over time. Because the avacado pit rests in water it does begin to rot, so the more frequently you are able to change the water without disrupting the root base the better.

Honestly, It’s perfect for forcing my paper white bulbs ! Absolutely love. It’s very small, but gets the job done. My only complaint I think it’s grossly overpriced, I only bought out of convenience. If convenience is all that matters it’s a great little vase. Great quality, packaging was on point and product was kept safe in transit.

This lovely shape improves on the old fashioned ways of growing an avocado seed. It is quite stylish. It can be a centerpiece for the kitchen table or a decoration for the coffee table. It makes a great gift.

It fits my avocado seed perfectly! However my avocado seed is sprouting faster than I expected so it will quickly outgrow this vase. I might be able to use it until I have to plant it in soil but the vase itself is smaller than expected . Still a great vase !

My wife broke my last glass easily by tapping it with the towel holder accidentally. There was water everywhere, but this one is smaller stronger and fit on the table alot better.

It's a lovely vase but only small to maybe medium size avocado seeds will fit. The large seed I'm trying to cultivate does't come close to fitting in the opening.

I purchased two last Christmas for gifts. Neither worked after multiple attempts by both. Followed the directions, looked it up for more tips. Finally they both stopped trying. So they have vases.
