Do you ever wonder why restaurant ranch dressing is so much better than store bought in the bottle. This is the one that restaurants use and it's amazing. It mixes with buttermilk and mayo and you will be so surprised how tasty it really is.

It's so easy to make your own restaurant-style ranch dip whenever you want. All you need is one of these packs, 2/3rds of a cup of buttermilk (whole-milk buttermilk if you can find it) and 2/3rds of a cup of high-quality mayo (Duke's works well, but you can also make it yourself pretty easily - Google "heavy duty mayo recipes" which is what restaurants use, it just has more egg yolk than standard mayo). Some people add a spoonful of sour cream, other people add fresh herbs, but the base recipe is generally always the same. The final product is extremely similar to what you can get at Wingstop/etc, because they almost all use this exact same seasoning mix (though they get theirs in bulk of course).No matter how you prepare it, this stuff is 100x better than bottled ranch and only marginally more expensive. And these packs are cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else around me. Just try it and you'll never go back, it's seriously fantastic.

I use this Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch Seasoning mix to flavor pretzel pieces. I mix one pack of this seasoning mix with 3/4 cup of canola oil, coat the pretzel pieces with the mix, and then bake. So good! I also use this mix with mayonnaise and cream cheese to make the dip base for veggie pizzas. It can also be used to make regular salad dressing. Versatile and very tasty!

Very good product

The package says .40oz and the cost is $9.99 for 3 packages. I went to our Dollar Store today and their everyday price is $2.10 and that price is for a 16oz package. Buyer beware. I gave this product 5 stars simply because I am rating the product itself, we like the mix in chip dips and recipes for chicken, beef, pork and veggies. Mississippi Pot Roast is absolutley amazing. I just happened upon these at the Dollar Store while I was looking for something else but I will check there first next time, Amazon is not what it used to be, takes a week to 10 days and longer to get our orders. I signed up for Amazon Prime just so I could get the Prime 2 day shipping, well that is a thing of the past. I would make an order knowing I would be home to receive my order, now I never know when it is coming, or if it is. I could go on and on about the issues I have had but I am here to rate this product and I did, so, good luck to all of you hope you have better luck than me.
