I bought this for a portable in-room air conditioner, which came with a chintzy hose. This hose is much more robust in construction, with the described liner keeping the inside diameter clean and free of build-up. I feel it also represents a nice deal for the money. I'd buy this again in a second if I needed to.

I needed about 50 feet to go through my attic and this accomplished the job!

So, for my purposes as a simple mini split condensate hose it works just fine, but for anyone out there who absolutely needs this to have a smooth inner black liner, it does not have that. This is just a single layer corrugated tan/off white tube that does not have a smooth inner second lining. The inside is corrugated, just like the outside. Quality seems absolutely fine. Looks like every other condensate corrugated tube I have seen.

Works like it should

I PURCHASED THIS HOSE TO EXTEND A DRAIN HOSE SUPPLIED WITH A PORTABLE AC UNIT I SET UP IN MY GARAGE. THE HOSE CONNECTED PERFECTLY TO THE SHORT HOSE THAT CAME WITH THE AC UNIT I JUST CUT THE 26 FT HOSE TO THE DESIRED LENGTH I NEEDED TO PASS UNDER GARAGE DOOR. I LIKE THE WAY THIS HOSE CAN BE CUT AND RECONNECTED IF YOU NEED TO AT A LATER TIME. NICE PRODUCT.

Kind-of cheap but probably same as other china made hoses. It requires a adapter to connect to mini split hose. Will use it, was going to return it, but I found a piece of clear hose to use as an adapter to my mini split. So reluctantly I'm keeping it.

This is better than using a rigid PVC pipe as this hose is smaller OD and fit easier in the line set hind cover. It's also easy to cut and cheaper.I have one very thick wall (air handler mounted on a soffit + this 5" wall) and so the air handler short drain hose is not long enough to protrude outside the exterior wall. using this flex hose and add some silicone glue to the joint to extend the drain hose to ground.
