Denso (3297) SK20R11 Spark Plugs, Pack of 4

Great 👍👍. Makes my engine run better. No issues at all

I bought my 2011 xB this spring. I wanted a smaller, and more economical, daily driver than the Sport Trac. It's been fine but as a car guy (well, lots of British cars) I knew it could use some care and feeding. I have concentrated on non-engine work as I got through cancer treatment. This week I finally started on the engine work. The car was pretty laggy on accels and the MPG was several miles below the original 24 combined rating. I haven't worked on a Toyota since my bought-new '71 Carina. I figured I would just start with the usual easy suspects and go from there. So spark plugs it was. I chose to go with these Densos, which were the OEM versions. They came quickly, and the gaps were preset correctly (yes, I did verify each one). Install was quick and easy. I admit I've been pushing the car a little harder in the three days since. The car has some improved jump accelerating from stop. But where I notice the big gain is top-gear acceleration, like from 50 to 65 MPH, or 60 to 70, It's more responsive, quicker, and smoother. It's not straining or stumbling. I have to note that the old plugs were done for. They looked like they were the originals from the factory. Their center electrodes were all pretty much nubs. So I expected a big boost in performance. And I'm satisfied I got it with the new Denso plugs. Hopefully I will also see some improvement on mileage ... but I'll need to stop pushing the engine so hard before I can determine that. Soit might be a while before I provide that update.

Noticed a huge improvement in gas mileage compared to my old ones, so they were all properly gapped. Had no issues installing them.

The right OEM specific parts are essential for Toyotas made Japan or domestically. This will ensure proper running of engine.

Good quality, fit & function as expected however these are no longer made in Japan as suggested by the photos. Plugs are marked "Made in US with foreign & domestic materials". Not a huge deal, I just prefer to maintain my Japanese vehicles with Japanese components whenever possible so this was a bit disappointing, next time I will go with NGK.

A perfect fit for Scion tC 2005. The replaced OEM spark plugs are also Denso SK20R11 (U.S.A./Japan-made) and in decent condition after 200000 miles on them. I did readjust the gap (0.044" / 1.1mm) and will keep the old ones as a spare set in my roadside emergency kit.
