We installed this into the outflow of our pump on our 13x42 above ground pool and started running it right away. It took all of 5 minutes to screw together and start flowing water. We are located in north Florida and it’s been a brutal month of May and early June. No rain and really hot.We checked the temperature of the pool before turning it on and we were at around 89 degrees before dark. The next morning the pool was down to 84 degrees. Perfect temperature.We continued to let it run thinking we would hang around 84… well the next morning we checked again and it was 80 degrees. Now I had to hear the kids complaining all day about it being TO COLD!Now a lot of this will come down to the size of the pump you are running. We have a variable speed speck pool pump that really pushes water. That really helped get the water in the air to cool it off.Definitely worth buying if you need to cool your pool down.

I was really skeptical about this product but it does what it says. It can cool off your pool but only a few degrees so if you are looking for something that will change the temperature of your pool by more than 3-4 degrees then you need to invest in something a lot more expensive and powerful. It is nice to go under the stream and feel cooler it water especially out here in Texas. I have recommended this to other friends with pools and they all agree, that it's worth it.

This is easy enough to assemble and install, but it just didn't work in my 11,000 gallon in-ground pool. First, the riser is not long enough to get the fountains high enough above the pool water. Second, you cannot make it longer because the PVC pipe is not a standard size. Third, even when I let the water get low enough for the fountains to spray, I just didn't see any reduction in pool water temperature, and I let it run continuously for 48 hours. To be fair, I'm in Dallas and it was over 100 during the day and only got down to maybe 85 at night.Ended up returning it.

I love that I can position the sprinkler any way I want. Keeps the water cooler in my above ground pool

Update: This works a lot better when hooked directly to a 3/4HP pump. Can spray about 25 feet. I aimed the nozzles high, since my pool is only 20ft wide at the pressure side pool cleaner port. I'll kick my rating up to 3 stars, since I had to spend almost $1800 on an electric pool cleaner to free up the pump outlet, and that option is not something that everyone would be willing to do to make a $25 pool accessory work...This arrived today. The install was simple, taking about 5 minutes plus a bit of time to trim back a plant. As shown in the pictures, it's pretty unimpressive, spraying about 6 feet...this is when using the high pressure valve orientation, as specified in the Amazon product description.I know I shouldn't really expect much for the cheap price, but there were a lot of good reviews, so I figured I'd give it a shot. It's likely that the poor performance is related to the size of my pool, since the pump pressure is distributed between 9 pool/spa jets. I think it'd work well if connected to the booster pump outlet for a pressure side pool cleaner, which I may try if I ever get around to purchasing an electric cleaner.Anyway, I'd avoid this for pool/spa setups. It'd probably be fine in smaller pools that don't have many jets on the main pump outlet.

Works as advertised. I installed on the booster pump line and the picture shows the fountain operating with pressure relief valve fully closed and boost pump off so only the VSP through boost pump line is operating. If I want then I can open relief valve and turn on boost pump for a much higher fountain.I don’t know do t know why anyone would need the more expensive one.

Purchased Swimming Pool Waterfall Fountain Spray - 2 Fountain Heads Water Sprinkler, Cool & Warm Pool Waterfall for the pool. The item is a little flimsy and with kids I am worried it will not last very long, but time will tell. The price was good. It was easy to assemble, but not to install. You definitely have to have a handy man around that can install it, because each pool can be a little different and mine needed some adjusting to make it work correctly. The waterfall was not that powerful as seen in pictures. The light was dim, but at night you could see it. Would probably not buy again, but it was okay for 1 summer.
