Holy cow! Where have you been all my life? I got these upon recommendation of a friend. I have tile floors and use upside down carpet squares to move things. But I had this HUGE 80 inch top heavy armoire, with round feet...and two of us could not lift it from it's side. Girlfriends to the rescue!. Three glas did it..and we slid the sliders under it..WOW. Made all the difference in the world. Just wish there was some way to attach the sliders. Now I can move the monster all by myself. Well worth the slider investment. Probably buy more. I mean you can resue them but for heavy pieces nope..I just leave it. Kinda easier on all pieces to have their own slider...especially if you like to move things..to clean, rearrange, or because you can! Very happy wiht the purchase...the "black" side goes toward the furniture/tan felt side goes down. Just wish they could jump over threshholds...stay on when you have to tip furniture, etc. Amazing things...get some and keep on hand.

I was planning a weekend of heavy furniture moving, with only myself doing the moving. I needed to move a whole bedroom set to another room. I had two very large dressers and 2 night stands. There was also an VERY heavy wood glass round coffee table that needed relocating. Knowing I would be doing this project alone, had purchased these sliders for help and I sure am glad I did.I have hard wood floors, so I am not sure how these would work over carpet. The nightstands were easy and out of the room in about 5 minutes. The five foot tall dresser was next. I was able to lift it and scoot a slider under each corner with my foot. It too was easy to push and pull into the other room. I hadn't even needed to remove the drawers. My other dresser is much heavier, and did remove the drawers because I had to flip it 90 degrees to get i to turn down the hallway.The sliders made everything go so easy. They stay in place under the furniture and I never needed to readjust them. Moving heavy furniture by myself was never so easy.

The 16 piece set comes with 4 large circle carpet sliders, 4 medium circle carpet sliders, 4 long rectangular carpet sliders, and 4 round felt hard surface sliders. Do not use the felt on carpets. Do not use the hard plastic shells on hard surfaces.Some reviews are for different sets that include different items. Some of the sets are mostly felt floor protectors not sliders.I got these because I was moving and I'm disabled. I'm amazed at how much easier they make sliding a box across a carpet.I looked at several brands and these seem very sturdy.I wanted an assortment of shapes without the felt ones for smooth floors, this assortment had the fewest felt sliders. Now I regret not getting more of the felt sliders. They really help protect the linoleum in the kitchen.I wasn't sure what I was going to use the large discs for. But they work well under boxes. Just two is enough to get a sled effect in the front and the box moves easily. But if it is a particularly heavy box you might want to use four to get it entirely off the carpet.

We removed carpeting and needed to move out three rooms of furniture while the wood floors were installed. In some cases it required moving very large pieces of furniture across carpet and beautiful tile that had recently been cleaned and buffed. One piece of furniture we called the beast and never thought we’d be able to move it (in picture). Both types of sliders handled the jobs, albeit a few showed war wounds. Best of all the tile never showed a lick of marks or scuffing. And we left the felt sliders under the beast for over one week while the flooring was put in.While moving the furniture both out of rooms and back into rooms my husband and I continually commented on how much easier these sliders made the work. When we’d get to a spot the switched from carpet to tile, we just swapped out the sliders accordingly.

Moved a VERY heavy work table on a concrete floor. Used a small jack to lift each leg up and slide a slicer under each of the six legs. Put two young men on the end. Pushed it 10 feet to the table's new home. The manufacturer of the table suggested disassembling and reassembling in the new spot. Saved hundreds of dollars in payroll to have two men take a day or two to break down and reassemble. Left the pads under the table legs as it is VERY heavy and doesn't slide if someone leans on it but will move if we put some real muscle behind it.Bought the multi-size package and am now using the other pieces all over the office and at home.GREAT product.

Bought this multi pack, because more is always better. This gave me a choice for which ones to use. We have a credenza that will need to moved every so often. I wanted to put it on wheels, but I was afraid it would sag over time. This is a great solution. Now anyone in our office can pull the credenza out to change the paper in the printer on top of it with no issues of getting hurt. I don't have to worry about the credenza sagging over time since the sliders are thin. It's a win win situation! Thanks!

This is my second set. I accidentally left my first set in my previous residence. They made moving things so easy I had to get another set. I keep them under my stereo rack because I frequently have to move it out of the way to access the back and it sits in front of the breaker box. My girlfriend also likes to rearrange the furniture which makes these invaluable and a back saver!

I placed 2 of the big sliders under the side of out giant bookcase. This allowed our mover to slide the bookcase across the floor without out damaging the new vinyl then he set it up against the wall. I purchased 2 different sets. The round ones went under the couch legs and they make it easy to push it around. After the couch was on the sliders for awhile they did not slip off of the legs at all. The long ones fit under the trestle bench perfectly. The smaller round ones went under the legs of an easy chair. Very pleased with these.

We had an emergency repair in our home and we needed to quickly remove our items around. These helped immensely when we moved the heavy furniture across the laminated floor. The different shapes and sizes helped us pick the best one to use for each furniture. Shelves seem to work great with rectangular ones, tables with the circular ones, etc. My problem with it though is it does come off occassionally in the middle of sliding the furniture, and that when the object is too heavy it causes dents on the sliders. But overall great product and essential to protect floors and make it easier to move furniture.
