Goo Product at a Great Price Point.
For this type of product, at this price point, I was a little iffy with purchasing this. I live in an area that gets a lot of snow and rain, and this cover was ideal. I have previously had a full sized capon an older truck, and disliked its limitation. With the EXTREME ease of installation (literally just tighten 2 hand screws and flip down 2 latches, I did not have to cut, drill or glue anything) and the flexibility of being able to take it off quick (if you have cargo that would require for such), you cannot go wrong. An Amazon review would not be complete without some negatives: It is a little hard to center on each side, and it came out crooked the first time installing, minor adjustment and it looked good; second: there are some bumps on the side where the folds take place that I see to be problematic down the road for water tight concerns; third:The latches and the cross bar that the latches attach to are a little under-engineered,and I would like to see improvement in those... nothing deal-breaking however. To be noted: I think it would be pure insult to charge a customer $199.99 for installation of this. If someone gets paid $200 to install this, then I am in the wrong field...

Easy to install but get help if you can
I was looking for alternatives for tonneau covers, the local availability was lacking and is overpriced ($1000 with install for a similar tonneau cover). I had family recommend I look online for one and came across the Gator ETX cover for the Colorado. Naturally I was skeptical seeing the price was literally a fraction of what I may have paid around town. But I figured why not? I put it on within a hour by myself although I will admit it would have been much quicker with two people. Only had to make one adjustment and it was a perfect fit! There's very little leakage when it rains (a lot) but I did not expect it to be waterproof anyway. I like the low profile look of it and it does the job of keeping things dry on the bed when I need it. I do not know if it is helping in the gas milage department. Before installing the cover the truck was averaging 17.9 mpg. Now I get around 18.3 mpg. The Colorado is still new so I might say it's still break-in so mpg is up and down.

Good - not great. Strong value though.
Got this cover for my GMC Canyon, mostly for one long road trip, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a cover. This one fits that bill and seems like it will get the job done. I think it's a good value for the money. As long as you're expecting to mostly get what you pay for, you'll likely be happy. Having said that, it's really no match for previous covers I've had from some of the big name-brand manufacturers. The tension adjustment method is a pretty crude 4-position plastic spacer thing. Also, no matter what I try, the front seal leaves a slight gap at the outside corners that lets some water in; the other covers I've had had a more elaborate front-to-side attachment methodology that made for better corner seals. This one is basically just a rubber flap that (sort of) lays over the top edge at the front of the bed. The attachment clamps are quite good, and the cover is easy to install and use, and again, it's very reasonably priced - it's just not as well designed as others I've had. If doing it again, I might have spent a bit more and gotten a higher quality cover, I'm not sure.

Good quality tonneau, great value!
I was a little hesitant purchasing this tonneau, I figured at ~$300 it would be a little cheap/flimsy. Fortunately, I was mistaken. This tonneau is easy to install, is completely weather tight, and is relatively high quality for its price. I put it through a heavy rainstorm on the highway the 1st day I got it and it worked perfectly. Kept all my luggage dry and was rock solid at highway speeds. Had it up in the snow and it handled that perfectly as well. It is super easy to go from full cover to 1/3, which is convenient for carrying different sized loads. I would highly recommend this tonneau, excellent value for the money.

Nice topper!
I am pleased with my Gator Tonneau cover. I have had it about six weeks and am not disappointed at all. Installation was not difficult but took longer than the suggested time for instal but not that much. I recommend watching the YouTube videos on installation to visualize how it will go. Instructions were not bad but video was very helpful. It took me several tries to get the distance between the side rails correct so there was no gap near the interface with the tailgate. Kind of expected that and once I got it right, no further issues. In a heavy rain, a couple tablespoons of water can seep in but way better than an open bed. Really a non-issue. Only installed one canister drain tube as I had one pre-drilled hole in the bed and didn't want to drill another unless it proved necessary. Again, a non-issue. This cover meets my expectations and at this price point I am very satisfied. Being very picky not giving it 5 stars across the board. Way to geaux Gator!

Good fit, 3 years later and still working great
I have a 2016 Colorado and this fit perfectly. 10 minutes to get it square and tightened up. So far it has been great driving around town. Took it through the car wash and a little water got under the seal but not enough to matter. There is a little flapping that I can see in the rear view mirror but it has not been a problem so far. The real test will be when I head down the interstate at 70mph for a few hours. UPDATE: Drove down the interstate and it worked great. I did figure out the water leakage. I have the plastic covering the side rails of the pickup but it does not cover the front part of the box under the window. This creates a small gap and water and air could get under the seal. I had a piece of dense foam from an old topper and mounted it with tape on the gap and this raised it enough that the rubber seal could now make good contact. It solved the water issue and the flapping issue because the air and water could not get under the weatherstripping of the topper.
