Plantar Fasciitis Soft Night Splint Boot - Unisex Achilles Tendonitis Padded Leg Support for Drop Foot, Foot, or Heel pain

The Good Idea was to create a boot that bends the toes upward from the very top of the foot - - not under the sole, as is the case in almost every other boot available, and to make it very lightweight. The Bad Idea is the fact that the clips for attaching the supportive (and very bulky) straps are all on the right side of the (very bulky) boot. That's great, if you're putting the boot on your left foot - - which would leave the clips on the inside of your leg - - but bad news if it's on the right foot, where reaching around the secure the straps is awkward enough to cause a back injury to add to your foot pain. Once on though, it was not bad to wear in bed, as the lightness of the unit makes up for its bulkiness. (Bulky for me, but the boot is clearly designed to accommodate large feet and legs than mine). As with other boots I have tried, I find that I can only have them on for 4 to 5 hours before something starts to hurt. But even having to wake up to remove it in the middle of the night, I had a better night than I have in months, and I woke up with very little foot discomfort. So it's a mixed bag.
