Simplicity Learn To Sew Tunic, Mini Dress, and Belt Sewing Pattern For Women, Sizes 6-18

I like the look of this pattern, but I will need to adjust it for a larger fit.

It came a week early which is good since I had to do a test for my client. I am so excited to start this project. And the little note was adorable

The instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. I made style C (long sleeved tunic). The sleeve length of the pattern was a little to long to fit the fabric I used (44") so I had to shorten the sleeves about an inch which was not really a problem. It was a quick easy sew. It fit well but I wasn't really happy with the way the fabric gathers/bunches up at the shoulder/armpit because of the way this is constructed with the yoke and sleeve one continuous cut of fabric. I used a light weight cotton and think it would have been better if I had used a light weight knit or jersey.

Simplicity Pattern. This pattern came in great shape, unused and in good time. I'm excited to try it out with some different fabrics I've collected. It has a classic and versatile style.

Fast and easy to custom fit using the sizing seam lines. Worked well with light weight, silky knits and a synthetic eyelet fabric with scalloped borders.

This is a great great first project and very easy to use and understand. I am very satisfied and will be buying many more.
