I wanted an easy on/off layer. I initially got this in black/grey to try it (I wanted something brighter but none of the offered color combos in this pocket poncho design really struck a chord). For my use I'd want the back side to also drape down to cover the butt. As it is the back side is fairly high and horizontally straight, as the overall garment is just a rectangle with a U cut out of it. Adding a triangle to the back end to carry the uneven draping all the way around would avoid the odd look over my tunic length tops. The fabric itself has a sweatshirt fleece feel, and is probably a lint and fur magnet, but that means it stays on very nicely because it's not slick. I haven't tried washing it so I can't speak to durability at this point.But I was using it for hanging out at my computer and it dawned on me that my Mom could really use something like this. She's a stroke survivor, mostly bed-ridden, but PT has her in a wheelchair for meals and exercises. The straight back edge makes this a superb wrap for sitting down. Mom not only can't use her left arm, manipulating it hurts her a lot, so this avoids needing to pull on a sleeve. I don't know if she's putting her phone in a pocket but they are definitely deep enough for one. I offered to swap the blue/tan one in for her as it's more in line with her fave color schemes but she is already too attached to the first one for her occasional excursions out of her very warm room. She loves it! So blue/tan is for me.

It's exactly what my wardrobe needed! The pockets are functional - but be aware as they are not secure in all circumstances. I love having this option as a layer.

I love this product as a wrap around the house. Beware the color. Even though the listing said it is gray, I was hopeful it was more of the blue gray that I see in the pictures. Love that it has pockets!

Beautiful. Soft. Thinner than I thought it would be but overall great.

Really soft shawl, will be perfect for my upcoming flight! Only issue is that it smells really musty. A little off-putting but I’m sure it will be fine after the wash.
