Petology Professional Pet Dog & Cat Hair Grooming Comb Rounded Teeth Stainless Steel

I have a shih tzu puppy, and it's a high maintenance breed as far as grooming goes, so I did my research on good grooming products. After watching some youtube videos on shih tzu grooming, I found they both used this type of comb, only by a much more expensive brand name. I decided on this Petology brand comb after reading the reviews and seeing that others were satisfied with this product more than the more expensive brand. After getting the comb in the mail, I tried it on my shih tzu puppy. It's easy to handle, and gets knots out easily without hurting her. The fine end was good for her face and paws. This comb made her look very nice and fluffy. I also have a golden retriever, that sheds A LOT. I originally had no intention of using this comb on her as I have a special shedding comb for her, but thought I'd give it a shot. It worked AMAZINGLY!!! The round tongs went through her fur smoothly, while picking up all her extra undercoat. Shedding combs are usually very sharp and abrasive, not to mention take forever to get all the extra hair. And it seems like I never get it all. But this Petology comb picked up all the extra fur easily, didn't scratch her, and made her coat look beautiful and freshly groomed when I was done. Not only that, but the comb held on to the extra hair, and was easy to clean off, instead of sending clumps of hair every where like the deshedding comb does. I'm very satisfied with this comb and will be recommending it to all the dog lovers I know!

I could easily comb my labrador with this comb. It is ideal for every day combing though not so good for searching for ticks. For tick and flea comb you need to buy one with finer teeth. This one is good for normal combing and it combs the thick hair quite well. Since dogs shed hair a lot, combing them every day is really good. And this comb is perfect for that task.

It works very well. I've a Labrador that sheds twice a year. Their hairs reach at unbelievable places that one might find their hair on Mars, before they can find water! It just took me 10-15 mins to comb out those loose hairs before they shed; my dog now looks neat and clean and she enjoyed the combing. Exact product I was looking for.

I have a labrador and he sheds heavily from time to time. This comb is perfect for him. It's sturdy, yet not pricky like the other combs that I have used. It does a great job of taking out loose fur and keeps the coat clean. My dogs loves it. He sleeps off when I comb him with this!

The teeth are not close enough for picking fleas and ticks.
