An undeniably logical purchase
BackgroundI am very much a utility plus experience of ownership type of person, and these are a very good purchase. They have completely replaced our casual glassware — we got the 12 pack to cover day-to-day use, and for the group sizes we typically entertain at a time (pre-COVID).Do they look nice? Yes. Nice enough for a non-formal dinner at the table. Are they durable? Yes — the stainless steel body makes it great for long term use, and it makes it so that my family doesn't require special cups for younger children (the youngest being 3y/o). Kids and adults in my house can use the same glassware now. What about hot/cold? They work perfectly for both. They are right at home with your morning coffee, a glass of water or your evening white wine you want to keep chilled as you sip. It keeps things hotter for about 3 hours, and I lost count for cold. What else? No need for coasters or condensation-related concerns. That's neat. Can I wash in dishwasher? I wouldn't recommend it unless your washer has a rinse-only feature. Don't do a normal wash with these guys.Do they stack? Yes, but only in stacks of two. The shape won't support 3 without risk of the tumblers tumbling — haCan I travel with it? Yep, they come with lids and the cup itself is well suited for taking with you when you have to hit the road.As I mentioned before. For your regular, day-to-day glassware, nothing else really makes logical sense. Looks nice, keeps things at the temperatures you want exponentially longer, durable for all ages, durable against drops, resistant to condensation, and doesn't look weird when you put different kinds of beverages in it (e.g. wine, water, coffee, etc).

Good quality, great value.
A little big, but works for what I bought it for. Bought it to use as a travel yerba mate cup. This is 12oz instead of the typical 8oz for a mate travel cup. Inside walls are straight up/down with a curved bottom that has a raised dimple in the center. The dimple gets in the way of the bombilla but not to bad.The lid is a single piece with a flexible seal. There is no cover for the drinking hole in the cover which is what I wanted since I would have a bombilla straw in the hole.Hand washed multiple times and no signs of wear on the finish. $6.99 when purchased and I'm very satisfied with it.

Not dishwasher safe and painted finish inside.
Box says hand wash with warm water. That’s a fail for me. Also, unlike other stainless cups I have purchased, these have two different finishes. The outside looks like raw steel. The inside looks painted. Perhaps that is why they are not dishwasher safe. Returning.

Sturdy But Not Well-Insulated
So...we live in a warm area, SE Texas. I love the looks of this tumbler. I have dropped it with the lid on, and nothing has cracked or dented. But...and this is a BIG but, I have left ice in the tumbler, expecting to come back home in an hour or two to unmelted ice, and incredibly, the ice completely melted down to water (while sitting in a dim/dark slightly warm room). For the looks and sturdiness, I give the tumbler a thumb's up, but if you are looking for a well-insulated tumbler, I do not recommend this one.

Metal Shaving on Inside Of Cup
After just four weeks of use, I found a metal shaving in my water from the inside the cup. I therefore did not feel safe using these anymore and returned them to Amazon.
