Good quality andnl comfort.Just tested them in the Austrian Tirols, they were very comfortable and light.Regarding the size and your walking plans get at least one size larger than normal (depends on which socks you are planning to wear.

I bought 1 size bigger for a good fit, but it's a bit tight on the upper foot. Even when wet, it keeps the foot secure. I know it's meant for terrain only, but the only thing I didn't like about it is that it has zero grip on wet, hard surfaces like stones.

Fit well and durable,look good. Can't comment on waterproof as I haven't worn them in the rain.

Amazon page and numerous reviews warn to order a size up.Beware! I did and the the shoe is huge!! No fault to shoe but reviews and product page are misleading.Update: second order arrived as required size. Left shoe great. As soon as I pulled on the lace of the right, lace hook pulled away from stitching.Gone back to trusted XA Pro for replacement walking shoe. Obviously an outsourced effort, not the normal quality
