Absolutely love this product. It’s sturdy, manageable and easy to carry. Love that it comes with its travel bag and accessories. In the picture , it is not all the way extended, I adjusted it to my height. But it’s higher that 5 ft for sure.

I don’t know what other people are saying but I’ve used this about 5 times to take pictures in different terrain like floors and outside in the grass and have been very durable and sturdy. It is an affordable option that isn’t as robust but it still does the job. I have a canon M50 and it paired really well with the stand. The height is well for normal level pictures. I also found the found holder to be really well to take videos and pictures as well. The lightweight design really helped when I had to carry it to the destination for the pictures and didn’t feel the fatigue. Overall it is a very stable stand if you are looking for one and not trying to spend so many money and it also doubles as a phone hold. The set up is very simple to use and doesn’t take long which is something I really enjoyed about it.

I bought this about 2021 and it has held cameras of varying weights. Its height helps to ensure clearance over the heads of the audience if video shooting from the rear without a platform. It comes with a removable rod that allows flexibility in movement while being still able to maintain steady video shooting. Mine developed a faulty latch after about a year which causes the entire setup to tilt as one leg retracts even when the latch is closed. This however doesn't prevent the use of the product, and I'm also not ruling out accidental damage during use that I probably wasn't informed about. Still a great buy and I would buy it again.

really good tripod, i have no complaints. except the case ripped in half the moment i tried to put the tripod back in for the first time, so i have no case for it. pretty good size, very sturdy, folds easily

Neewer provides some excellent camera accessories at a reduced price over factory components and I find several of them to be very useful. Neewer has this economical and light duty tripod for recording video that is constructed of aluminum. It represents a huge savings over others that can cost hundreds, basically accomplishing the same thing. It is working great but other than the three extending aluminum leg segments and the monopod, I'm not finding a lot of metal in its components. The hinges, knobs, cranks, and swivels that provide all the versatility seem to be mostly made of plastic. Additionally the specs don't mention that rubberized or any thermoplastic material is used in its construction that would help it to hold up better to abuse, so I would have to assume that whatever components are not metal are just plain ol' plastic, the kind that exposure to weather extremes will eventually destroy. So even though it may be a step up over the AmazonBasics very popular 100% plastic tripod, and its construction is well provisioned for ease and reliability, I would still be hesitant to use it in adverse weather conditions or when nearing freezing temperatures, and certainly not where surfaces are uneven. This is not the tripod to use for rugged and irregular terrain. You want one that you can trust will hold your expensive camera reliably, so for general outdoor use at events with flat surfaces or where relatively free of being tipped over in a photo studio, then this tripod rocks. Everything about it says convenience from the adjustable carry handle to its quick release extendable monopod. It does have a bubble level. Its weakest component is probably the hook that allows hanging extra weight when extra stability is needed in windy conditions. The hook looks and feels like it would easily break off with rough treatment, so I would caution using care or don't even try using it at all. The monopod is the center shaft and easily pulls out to provide a temporary support with two extensions and a rubber base pad. Since the tripod swivel head is replaceable, sometimes it will loosen and the swivel head will begin to wobble. Simply twist the head to tighten it up to the monopod shaft and it will return to its nice smooth rotational self again.

I have a few tripods but hands down this one is the best, very versatile can use with all my equipment, LOVE IT

E' il mio primo treppiede semiprofessionale con il prezzo assolutamente accessibile. Avevo altri treppiedi a casa, assolutamente inadeguati per la mia Canon EOS R50, circa 700 grammi di peso. Ho deciso per questo articolo della NEEWER suggeritomi in vari siti dedicati alla fotografia. Il treppiedi viene consegnato nel suo imballo originale, un cartone quadrato e successivamente inserito in un ulteriore scatolone imbottito anti urto, quindi 10 e lode per l'imballaggio. Il treppiedi è all'interno della sua custodia con la cerniera, completamente montato, è solo da aprire. Mi è piaciuto tantissimo..... io non sono una fotografa professionista, ma l'ho trovato veramente ben fatto. Le gambine sono telescopiche, facili da aprire e molto solide. I piedini son orientabili e ottimi anche su terreni irregolari. E' presente una piccola bolla per assicurare il perfetto posizionamento, una maniglia per spostare il treppiedi in modo rapido e sicuro. Due cose bellissime.... la prima è che tramite un piccolo volano, la macchina fotografica passa dalla posizione orizzontale a verticale in tutta sicurezza. La seconda cosa è che è dotato di uno sgancio rapido che consente di staccare la macchina per scattare senza treppiede e altrettanto velocemente la si può rimontare. Il movimento circolare è fluido e morbido, nessuno scossone che potrebbe rovinare i vostri eventuali video. Da acquistare assolutamente se volete qualcosa di sicuro, pratico e relativamente economico. Ovviamente se siete fotografi professionisti con fotocamere e obiettivi pesanti, magari sceglierei qualcosa di più costoso, ma non sono di certo io a dirvelo no? Buona luce!
