EcoID II USB-C 2.0, Fingerprint Scanner for Desktops, Laptops with Windows 10/11

I installed the BIO-Key on a new Windows 11 laptop, and it doesn't work. I've attempted to contact their customer support staff 5 times over 3 weeks and no response.When you purchase the BIO-Key, a product key is required and that's provided immediately via email. But after that, the people at [email protected] are not responsive.

Recently I purchased a more expensive Fingerprint Reader on Amazon. When I received it I used the Device Driver Install Disc to install the Driver, I setup my Fingerprint in Windows Hello and tested the reader. Everything worked good until the next day when I noticed that the driver was no longer installed so I used the install disc again to reinstall the Driver and the reader worked for about a day and then the driver uninstalled again by itself. So, I decided to return the Fingerprint Reader and purchased a less expensive Fingerprint Reader (Pictured) on Amazon. When the Fingerprint Reader arrived I noticed it didn't require the use of a Device Driver Install Disc, I just plugged in the Reader to my computer and Windows automatically installed the Device Driver then I setup my fingerprint in Windows Hello with no issues. I've been using the Fingerprint Reader for a few days now with no problems or issues with the Device Driver and I have NOT noticed any slowness in the Readers operation like I read in some other peoples reviews. I would highly recommend buying this Fingerprint Reader as opposed to buying a more expensive one.

This is my 2nd one. I know this one lasted 19 months. The previous one lasted about the same amount.When it works it works great. At the end of its life it just doesn't want to cooperate.

I was able to install but had difficulty getting it to read my fingerprint. It was very slow when it did work, but now I can't seem to get it to work at all! Tried the company website, but you can't send them an email unless you use a company address.

I've been using this for months now with no issue. Windows 11 just plug and play, setup my fingerprint and now use this for Windows Hello. Also works with other logins in windows, just tap my finger and everything works.

Takes 2-3 seconds to scan which feels long when you are using it, that said, it works reliably.

This will not connect to Windows 10 Pro x64 bit. Their website shows that the last update for this item was in 2022 so skip it and pay a little more for a better one. Mine must have been second hand because the screen reader for your finger was scratched. I had to look at it under a microscope and then I found the problem.
