6 inch Tube Portable A/C AC Air Conditioner Exhaust Hose Coupler/Coupling - Counter-clockwise Thread 6CCWCPL

Short review:Fits the exhaust hoses for my LG 8000 BTU (Model LP0815WNR I believe) and Haier 10000 BTU (Model HPP10XCT-E). Purchased the Whynter HPP10XCT-E 5.9" exhaust hose and this intulon coupler to extend the hoses that came with the original unit. The Whynter hose, sold by Amazon, is a very tight fit with this coupler, but with a bit of work, will screw in. Ordered the item direct from the manufacturer (not fulfilled by Amazon) and item shipped same day Priority Mail from WA to NY and arrived in 2 days. Very happy with the purchase.Long story:I needed a few portable air conditioners for all the bedrooms in my apartment because window units could not be installed due to window guards being required for the kids. In a few of the bedrooms, the beds are right up against the windows, and the packaged exhaust hoses are only long enough to put the air conditioners right next to the windows, so we needed extension hoses to run underneath the beds to the windows.Last year, I purchased an LG 8000 BTU Model LP0815WNR, but since this coupler did not exist, I duct taped the hose to an extra piece of duct I had from my drying machine. The heat from the exhaust of the air conditioner caused the duct tape to lose some of its adhesive-ness and some warm air leaked back into the room. When I had to purchased an air conditioner for another bedroom this year, I found this coupler on Amazon and decided to give it a shot.I purchased the Whynter 5.9" exhaust from Amazon to use as an extension, since it seemed like the best match to the hose sizes I needed. This coupler fit the factory hoses for the LG unit, as well as the hose for my Haier 10000 BTU Model HPP10XCT-E with no problem. When it came time to attach the Whynter hose to the other end of the coupler, it took quite a bit of work to get it through the first thread, as outer diameter of the Whynter hose was just a hair to thick. Once I got it around the first rotation on the thread, the spiral was able to be guided through. In hindsight, a little bit of grease or WD40 would probably have saved me a bit of time.Figured I'd post this review since it seems like there's a demand for extension hoses, but not many companies that manufacture couplers.Shipping was incredibly fast from the manufacturer.

This was a perfect attachment we needed to run a portable AC exhaust hose out the side of our hose through wall instead of loosing one of the windows in the basement. We also bought the screw top for when not in use and a 6inch vent that looks like a large dryer vent.

Like: It works as described.Dislike: Price. I would think that since created by 3D printer there would be almost no labor and that would lower costs.

Did what it was supposed to. I needed to extend my portable ac around a corner so that I could cool the living room without cooling the kitchen first. This did the trick. Solidly made and was easy to install. I was so happy with the coupling that I bought a second one for my other ac. Having the ability to move it farther from the window really helps it cool to right area better.

After I reordered to get the correct size (5”),it worked PERFECTLY !!!

Easy to attach both of my hoses. Think the price was a bit high for a piece of printed plastic, but it does work well and looks way better than a bunch of clamps and ties.

Works! Should have been included by the air conditioner and not have to buy after market. Way over priced for what it is though. Delivery was quick!

I bought two of these one for each hose . These seem to be 3D printed by a student in their home so, since they are unfinished 3D prints, they are not identical. one of them fit my hoses great and is working like a charm. The other is slightly too tight for both of the hoses. I had to spend some time sanding the inside of the coupler like this company should have on their end for a product this expensive. Definitely buy some tape you're going to need it. Definitely not worth the price. Not sure how or why Amazon started selling DIY home printed crap. Things that are unfinished 3D prints should not be sold as a consumer product.

This is the only coupler that I could find to join 2 counter clockwise AC hoses together. It is totally overpriced and looks like it was 3D printed but it works perfectly. Loses a star due to price and being more expensive than the clockwise version of this product.

While the service was amazing! I had difficulty finding the right fit the 5 inch was too small and the six-inch a little loose. I thought it would be a standard fit. Modified by adding a wrap of heat resistant tape at the thread on the hose which snugged it up enough to hold.

On the pricey side for a piece of plastic but does exactly what it is suppose to do. It is for air conditioner exhaust hoses that are 6inches in diameter.
