007 Quantum Of Solace - Playstation 3

Let me start by saying that in my eyes no 007 game is better than Goldeneye N64. There have been other great 007 games like The World is not enough, Nightfire, and Everything or Nothing. I even like the Goldeneye reboot on PS3 but it didn't even come close to the original. Quantum of Solace has come very close to that Goldeneye experience I long for in a Bond game. It truly is an homage to the N64 007 game. With the classic controls,variety of weapons to chose from, immersive gameplay, and it is probably the Best 007 fans are going to get for a while. Now the graphics aren't exactly state of the art even for 2008, which is the year this game was released, but decent and there is realistic physics in game that have been lacking in recent 007 releases. Not really much more to say on graphics except this game was developed by Treyarch the same company who did COD Black Ops 1 and 2, so I'm not surprised I saw some similarities in the graphics engine for this game. What I like best is that they throw in the storyline from Casino Royale and of course Quantum of Solace in one game which actually surprised me that they did that so you get more than you expect out of this game. If you have seen both movies you play through basically all the action sequences made into levels and some extra levels to add and change the story a little from the movies. Bottom line Quantum of Solace is a solid Bond game which is why I gave it 5 stars.

At first I was a little hesitant to play this game since there has not been a truly good 007 game since N64 but this is truly a great 007 game. The story is good as it ties in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. To some it can seem confusing since both movie plots are in the game that is titled after the following movie but that is because there was not a game made for the previous movie. Overall I recommend this if you are a fan of the modern warfare style of game play and a fan of the 007 movies.

At first I wasn't too impressed with the game until I went online for multiplayer mode. That's when I realized this game was meant for multiplayer. There are a variety of scenarios from you playing Bond with everybody else trying to kill you, to playing in a team protecting the briefcase, to everyone for himself. Best things about the online play:1. Players - 12 players2. Movements - you can hide behind objects standing or crouched and shoot the enemy. You can run, jump, climb, walk, etc.3. Best move - you can bounce grenades off walls to change direction towards the enemy and watch their bodies go limp as it falls. The body shakes shivers. If you hit them on a roof, their body slides off the roof to to the ground.4. Explosives - you have a choice of a regular grenade, poison gas, smoke grenade, flashbang (stun grenade) and proximity mines.5. Guns - handgun, sniper rifle, shotgun, semiautomatics and a variety inbetween6. Scenes - fight on a roof top, in a basement (chemical plant), in a parking garage, etc.7. I love the multiplayer because you're not fighting aliens but real people and they use the laws of physics - in an explosion, a standing person falls on their knees then on their face or side;

The game is awesome and still fun to play as old as it is. I now finally own all four 007 games for my ps3 system:)

First of all this is definitely not worth the full $60. As one reviewer mentioned, you do feel like you're being cattle-herded to the end. It's a first person shooter and nothing more. Since its a game based on a movie not yet released (Quantum of Solace was released after the game I think) much of the story is vague and often lacking.Is it worth $15? Absolutely. In fact, thats a bit of a steal. I would say it was worth $25 at least. The visuals are good, the sound is great and the controls are solid. The real star for me however, are the guns. Have you ever played a game with guns and wished you could put sound suppressors on them as you pleased? Well you can in this game. Virtually every weapon, except 1 or 2 (shotgun... duh), has a silencer that you can attach or remove when you feel like it. I absolutely love the sound of a silenced gun!If you want a great FPS thats dirt cheap, then I strongly recommend this game.Its simple but fun.

Game arrived in timely manner but has huge deep scratch. Obviously, this disc isn’t going to work! Not sure why anyone would bother sending something that’s not going to work at all?

This has been enjoyed by myself, my 14 year old grandson, my 9 year old grandson and my 31 year old son. We all agree this has been the best 007 game yet. It is fun and exciting with out being to easy or too difficult.

Great game, has a pretty close set up compared to the Call of Duty series of games, if you like call of duty you will like this game. Came in perfect condition case and CD.
