38 yr old, hormonal acne breakouts. I will keep this short and sweet. As others have said, read the instructions always. I suffer from 18 yr old Melasma (pregnancy mask). I used this product for 30 seconds the first time. Of course it is going to sting. Rinse with cool water and apply a vitamin C serum if you have any. Moisturize and use sunblock during the day, even if it is cloudy. My Melasma darkened and I did have a purging (big breakout), this is normal as a peel forces all that gross stuff up and out. After 3 days, I did a second peel, again, 30 seconds. I have not had any peeling as of yet from either application, but I believe my skin has a fairly high tolerance for products as I have used multiple prescription creams in the past.Overall, one day after the second application, I still have the purge but my pores are noticeably smaller. Keep in mind, this peel is not going to make you look like a flaking lobster walking around on two legs like a stronger dermatologist peel would. You will see results. Be patient.

(Along with yeoth’s Hyaluronic acid too as a moisturizer)First time I used this it burned the hell out of my skin and made it look all “frosty” and I only left it on for 30 seconds. I immediately washed it off with cold water as suggested and it left my face pretty red. After that, I peeled for like 4 days..... to reveal SKIN WITHOUT ZITS!!!! The only issue is that you can’t put makeup on while your skin is peeling, so girls make sure you won’t have to go out for the next 5 or so days.I now use this basically as a face wash that I leave on for 30sec-1min in the shower and as a leave-on spot treatment for zits that pop up. Keeps my skin pretty clear (peeling hasn’t happened since the first time). When I use it as a spot treatment, when I wake up in the morning the zit is practically gone? This stuff is crazy. I love it.

i gave this product 4 star because it works but not 100& and the instruction could be more clear.I first used it on my forearm to test out and tidy bit on my cheek bone where there are more scars. It caused rash on my forearm but did not do any permanent damage. I'm Asiant type skin. The first time I used it on my face and chin areas, left for 2 minutes, I waited for two days, no peeling. second time I used again and left on for 10 min.. I could feel a little tighten but no peeling. Third time, I used on my whole face and left it over night. It did peel on those area like chin and cheek bones, and jaw lines, but so far I have not seen any lightening effect. I found this works extremely good on active acne. When I have breakout, I just dab a little on the spot, used it for 2 or 3 times, once at night, it will eventually dry out the acne and heal it. But it does make the skin darker. However, I was not very concerned of the dark spot because it always faded away in a few days. It sure does sting when put on whole face or sometimes smaller area. But I used a Q tip just dab the area where it feels itchy burning, and the irritation will go away in a few min. I would recommend this product to those people who have ongoing, small area breakout and light acne scar. Just be aware of your skin type. I did not leave permanent dark spot on me, but it does not mean it won't do on your face. So before you decided to use on large area, dab a little on your chin where there is breakout and use it for 2 to 3 times, see how it goes.

Finally, a product that does what it's supposed to. Within a week of using this my skin began to crinkle a bit, then the next day it started peeling and within 3 days total the dead skin all sloughed off. If you can handle the 5 days (my skin anyway) of peeling skin, you may want to try this product.I would suggest going at this slowly if you have never used salicylic acid before. It burns a little bit at the onset, but then again, not sure I would have gotten the results if it didn't. I live in Arizona and spent far too much time in the sun in my youth. This helps take some of those layers off. I even had a small brown age spot above my eyebrow that it lightened significantly. I have had that spot professionally lasered off twice yet it came back. A lot of bang for the buck considering the spa I go to charges $125 for the same procedure you get in this bottle.

I purchased this product in August and had no issues using it and thought it worked okay, nothing magical. Two days ago after not having used the product in awhile I did what I had always done and used a small amount on my cheeks and chin and jaw area. Within 20 seconds my skin had turned gray and was on fire. I immediately took the product off and hoped too much damage hadn’t occurred, after all I had used it several times before without adverse reactions. Two days later I have second degree burns on my face, weeping blisters and I have to take the rest of the week off work to keep the burns from this product from getting infected. I’m not sure if there will be scarring but it’s quite possible. I will NEVER use this product again, and I’m upset! Don’t mess with your face. It could have a lasting impact. Don’t recommend.

Wow! Stronger than I was expecting. On the level of a professional peel. My sking was a little pink here and there but fine by the next morning. Much more effective than milder peels I have used. Get ready to take it off right after you get it on. Avoid eye area and lips. This will help keep my skin youthful looking and all my other skincare will better penetrate when it doesn't have to go through layers of dead skin. My skin was looking dull and now its soft and fresh looking.

I recently experienced a very severe breakout with deep red patches on my face. After trying many other cheaper products that didn't work, I decided to give this a try. After just one use, my skin has already begun clearing up. Each day my acne is clearing up and the red spots on my skin are lighter. I have very very sensitive and acne prone skin. The first time I used this treatment I could only leave it on my skin for a few seconds because it did burn immediately. However, this is my first time using any chemical peel so my skin is not used to such an intense treatment. Follow the directions, pay attention to what your skin can handle and I believe you will have quite the positive experience with this product.
