I bought this as I heard Dr. Alan Mandel telling on his YouTube channel that Magnesium Glycinate is good remedy for insomnia. It is true! After taking just one capsule I slept deeply!

Remove the magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide
Except for the magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide within... it is an overall good effective magnesium

Nature Made Magnesium Glycinate is a solid choice for those seeking a gentle, bioavailable magnesium supplement. Each serving (two capsules) delivers 200 mg of magnesium, which is about half the daily recommended amount for most adults. It’s marketed as supporting muscle relaxation, nerve function, heart health, and bone strength—claims that align with magnesium’s known roles in the body. The glycinate form is a plus; it’s less likely to cause digestive upset compared to cheaper forms like magnesium oxide, and it absorbs well due to being chelated with glycine. I’ve found it easy on the stomach, as advertised, with no bloating or laxative effect even when taken on an empty stomach. It’s also gluten-free, with no artificial flavors or colors, which is nice for those avoiding additives. The capsules are a bit large, though—might be tricky if you struggle with swallowing pills. Some users report better sleep or reduced anxiety after a few weeks, but I didn’t notice a dramatic difference in those areas myself. Still, it’s a reliable option for filling dietary gaps, especially if your intake of magnesium-rich foods like nuts or leafy greens is low. Price-wise, it’s reasonable for the quality, often around $10-$15 for a 60-capsule bottle, depending on the retailer. Not the cheapest, but Nature Made’s reputation and third-party testing give some peace of mind. If you’re after a straightforward magnesium supplement without gimmicks, this does the job. Just don’t expect miracles—it’s a nutrient, not a magic pill.

The product is good, & I definitely noticed it helping with sleep. That being said, the pills are just way too big for me. I actually got them stuck in my throat a couple times, which I was able to either cough it back up, or swallow really hard, but it was still very alarming. I liked the product, but I'm planning to switch to gummies or a powder. I'm editing this review and adding a star, because I figured out a way that works for me to swallow it. First off, I drink water before I take it, & leave a little water in my mouth. Then, I take a really huge gulp of water and swallow. Doing that helps it slide down easily. It just takes a lot more water than I ever had to take, even with large pills. So now that I've found a way that works, I would repurchase.
