This is very well priced compared to the well known laboratory suppliers. It is perfect for me as a demonstration pipette that I can use to record teaching materials at home and it is also perfect for student use especially when they are first getting use to using micropipettes and when they are likely to make all of the mistakes that make the technical team scream. I have even made use of it at home preparing art materials where I needed to measure out small volumes of pigments into media. It is a handy thing to have around and very useful for my laboratory techniques recordings.

in the lab we often used a syringe and that’s signal use which are also not that accurate either.in the lab this has the benefit as I measure the same volume several times this saves me time as once set just rinse and repeat.the price point for this is very good not as accurate as the super expensive but very acceptable for the price.

This is a great tool for us to do experiments with, my kids love using it but I do believe the price is slightly higher then what I would like to pay for this. Good quality product but I probably won’t be purchasing it again as other products similar to this are much lower in price

The media could not be loaded.  I have not heard about Four E's Scientific/Precipette brand before but I was very curious to try their pipettes. As a research scientist who uses pipettes at work all the time, I have my own set of branded pipettes at work but I am always keen to try different brands and also I like this style of pipettes.This is a relatively simple single-channel micro-pipette. The pipette measures volumes between 100 and 1000μl. The plunger is easy to push and works smoothly. The pipette works well - it is light to hold and easy to use. However I was disappointed that it did not fit our usual P1000 non-filtered tips very well - I had real trouble ejecting them easily (as shown in the attached video).The pipette comes with several accessories: grease, calibration tool, replacement filters, a couple of sample tips, and a user manual. The user guide is clear with good instructions for pipetting and calibrating for those who have not had much experience using these pipettes. I think i is a good back-up pipette to have around for 'dirtier' or less precise jobs as long as you find tips that fit it well.The pipette also comes with calibration test results/quality control certificate.

I have been using this in the lab for the last few weeks and I have to say it has worked very well. The measurement is super easy to set using the twist cap and you can see the measurement you’ll be taking on the side display of the pipette. It’s nice and ergonomic and very easy to use. It’s quite lightweight so it’s something that could be used for quite some time. I haven’t had any issues ejecting the end caps at all so that’s good.Overall for the price it seems like a good pipette but I guess time will tell as to how long it will last. If anything drastic happens I will update this review. But so far so good.

This micropipette comes in a printed cardboard box and inside you’ll find the pipette, performance test certificate, calibration key, replacement stickers, grease, 2x tips, and an operating manual. These pipettes work by you pushing the plunger down and inserting the tip into the fluid and then releasing the plunger in which it will rise on its own and pull the correct amount of fluid into the tip. The pipette itself is lightweight and easy to hold. The plunger has a smooth action and is easy to press. The plunger has two stop positions. There is the normal position which is where you first feel resistance when you reach the bottom of the press. This one is used as your main stop position and will pull the correct amount of fluid into the tip when you release the plunger. The second position is passed the first position and is with the plunger pressed all the way down until it won’t go any further. This is useful to push out anything that is left over in the tip. The amount the pipette can pull can be set to anywhere between 0.1-2.0ul and is adjusted by rotating the collar around the plunger. This will change the counter on the side of the pipette, and this shows what your current setting is. The reading can go beyond the maximum 2.0ul but it is recommended you go no higher as this can interfere with the plunger’s operation. As you rotate the collar, you can physically see the plunger moving up or down to accommodate the setting. It does come calibrated ready to use but you can calibrate it yourself as it ages with the included key and replacement sticker. You just lift up the existing sticker, make your adjustment, and replace the sticker. There are two included tips in the box, and these must be used when using the pipette. They are easy to attach by simply pushing them on and to remove them, you push down on the switch which is above the counter. This moves the entire insides of the pipette downwards which in turn pushes the tip off the end. This is an accurate way to always get the same amount of fluid for whatever you need it for. The amount is easily selectable by rotating the collar with an easy-to-read counter to tell you the current setting. It is on the expensive side for what is but it is well built and comes calibrated out of the box ready to use.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a small plant cultivar lab and I use a basic pipette for apply different levels of plant feed into the hydration. The ease of the adjuster and the quick tip remover, makes for easy quick use to adjust for different samples. Would recommend to anyone who uses pipettes often!

The product is ok but bit concern about the real measurement. Tested and compared with other products already had and the quantity looks a bit different. However the products is ok, well packed.
