Gorilla All Purpose Wood Filler, Natural Finish, 16 Ounce Tub (Pack of 1) - Water Resistant for Indoor or Outdoor Projects and Repairs

It's only just dumb luck that I found out that this is something that's made by the Gorilla brand. This is the first time that I have tried using a wood filler though. And so, since I haven't tried any wood filler made by any other brands, I don't have any basis for comparison. And after trying Gorilla's wood filler, I doubt that I'll be trying any other brand's wood filler any time soon.Anyway, it's pretty obvious that I would recommend this wood filler, but there's a couple of things that I would suggest to keep in mind. One thing is that, the two options here are not the same size. The kit comes with an 8 ounce tub of wood filler, and the tub that is just a tub of wood filler by itself is a 16 ounce tub. And then, the second thing is that, if you wind up having to sand any of this down after it hardens, then I would suggest wearing a dust mask, or whatever it is that you would usually use to keep from breathing in unwanted air particles. That and some safety glasses that hug your face pretty well. Maybe that's a little too much, lol, but then maybe it's not. Just make sure and read the warnings on the back and you'll see what I mean.

This stuff works great! I have an wood exterior door that had numerous cracks in the veneer that had bubbled. We just cut out that top layer around the cracks, and then filled them with this putty. It dried quickly, and we sanded it smooth.So easy to use with great results!

Decent filler but doesn't held well without additional help. I made something out of card board box to hold the filler in place.The consistency is like mushy sandy clumps that crumbles.Easier to work with your hands to stuff it in place then using the putty knife.Need to see what alternatives there are that are more clay like.

Like the texture, ability to re-stir or add water if left open too long. Dries quick-strong though I wait 24 hours to sand. Use gloves to apply, mask and goggles when sanding. (see instructions) 5-STARS

It has a smell but very faint. I actually kinda like it tbh. The color matches mdf pretty well. Easy to install. It more of a fine paste but drys hard and well

I recently used Gorilla All Purpose Wood Filler to fix a few gouges and cracks on a wooden table, and I’m very impressed with the results. It didn’t shrink back after drying, and it didn’t develop any cracks, which is important for long-lasting repairs. I also found it very convenient that it’s water-resistant, so I can confidently use it for both interior and exterior projects. However, I did ensure that I coated it with exterior paint for outdoor use, as recommended.The tight-lock container is a nice touch, keeping the filler fresh for later use. It’s also very easy to clean up—tools and hands wash off easily with soap and water before the filler fully dries.Overall, I’m highly satisfied with the Gorilla All Purpose Wood Filler. Whether you need it for quick DIY fixes or larger projects, it’s a reliable and durable solution that delivers professional results. I’ll definitely keep this product in my toolbox for future repairs!

was very dry and container was half full from drying out. I used it anyway and made it work but much more difficult. I wasn't sure if I could add water to make it better so I didn't. I think it will be ok, but could have been a lot better.

Works pretty good. I applied it with my hands to make sure it really stuck and was thoroughly kneaded. It dried pretty well and I added several layers on top of each other to fill in missing wood. Seems to be holding up still on my door
